"Decentralization is religion"
Hello all, due to unfortunate bug within the source code which was originally forked from Bytecoin, we are forced to relaunch the blockchain. Airdrops and refunds for those who already completed trades will be given out. All issues regarding the blockchain will be solved. The release will take place 1/20/18, we're very sorry for this incident and it will not happen again. We hope that you all will understand, we are working hard to get everything resolved and provide a reliable blockchain to the public. Thanks, again.

looking forward to mine alloy again! keep us updated with the date and time please! thank you!!

Hello,

a question, I'm mining on the pool: https://alloy.luckypool.io/#

I realize that the difficulty is now higher, but I have now almost 10 hours back in the pool and nothing happens

According to the calculators on the pages if you can take that so exactly, I theoretically have to reach about 25 coins per day.

Before that, I was about 30 hours on http://xao.miningpool.host  , because exactly the same.

Did I miss something?

Getting really bored of leaving a rig pointed at this coin only to find out later the blockchain was locked for hours. Again.

This is not zero cost to us miners. We are paying for the electricity and could be mining something else instead where the blockchain isn't locking over and over again.

The network hashrate has has already halved in a day. Keep on top of keeping it up or its going to die on its arse.

Im getting these results while solo mining:

Quote
02:51:01.057488 INFO Mining has started with 7 threads, good luck!
02:54:32.943916 INFO Transaction with id= used already spent inputs
02:54:32.943916 ERROR Transaction verification failed:
02:54:32.959544 INFO [103.253.147.244:1810 OUT] Tx verification failed
02:55:05.153995 INFO tx used wrong inputs, rejected

Does that mean I am mining or what?
Thanks

As Nighthawk said, thoses warnings can be ignored

The ring errors are warnings, can be ignored.

Things are slowly getting back to goodness as people upgrade their wallets/nodes.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way to know that I successfully found a block?

That would be interesting to know. There's nothing but errors, rejects and fails while running alloyd. Not a single event seems to be completed successfully and somehow that means everything works as intended.

Hi. I have started the miner. The miner needs to start just with start_mining (threads) without the address generated? Because  i am mining on 3 threads but nothing is showing up yet.Untraceable payments uses ring signature? How to understand ring signature? How to allocate coins? Only mining?

You should use one of the pools. Difficulty is too high for solo-mining
