What is the silence in the XBC branch, only the network statistics of late.

Work in progress Wink https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YdLdcUgrruwSl9X5Oqp0rG6TJVJi1SxLhizsLxOYipg  Btw some of of the commits being copied are already completed and the footnote states that the above is not conclusive so we dont know where it ends workwise until the commits listed are finished.

Nice to see the volume up on Poloniex.

As for doing some redesign to the wallet (I'm on OSX) So I can resize the wallet no problem, I don't think it'd need to be done at 16:9 would it? It'd be designed in Illustrator anyway so completely scaleable vectors.

Either way we'll wait until segwit then I can put forward some ideas. My initial thoughts are the colours need some work. I think I should be able to come up with something good Smiley

Excellent,we are in no major hurry anyway because they wont be needed until segwit update is finished or the next major wallet update although we are picking up pace now.The suggestion was to have them as large as practically possible so they can be downsized.

I want to know how I can withdraw coins from the wallet that are in staking. I understand that it will not be possible to do it instantly. Or for the withdrawal of coins from staking need also 24 hours?

You can disable staking by adding staking=0 in the bitcoinplus.conf file but if you already have coins in stake, you must wait for the confirmations to pass before they are spendable again.

If I placed my coins in my wallet for Staking. After a while, I will need to withdraw some of the coins, can I do it and how?

Reserving Coins in Your Wallet so that they are always available.
Submitted by xbcadmin on Thu, 02/11/2016 - 17:52

Bitcoin Plus - XBC is a hybrid Proof of Stake and Proof of Work Coin. However Only XBC coins can be generated using the Proof of Stake. As soon as coins are in your wallet and mature (24 hours) they start to 'Stake'. During the process coins will move from Spendable to Stake inside the XBC Wallet. Only the Spendable amount can be sent from the wallet. This can be a pain when you want to send some XBC to an exchange and find that you cant because the coins are 'locked in'.

There is a feature in the Bitcoin Plus Wallet that allows you to reserve some coins so that they will always remain on reserve and available. See Screenshots below on how to set this feature up.

Another point I want to bring is that these centralized exchanges are not necessarily the future.  Right now there are ongoing developments to bring new forms of decentralized exchanges where users keep control of their funds without having to rely/trust a third party.  Decentralized, anonymous, trustless exchanges are the future, in line with the vision of Satoshi.  I suggest that XBC can look into that direction as well to be a part of these new developments/opportunities.  It will not require any permission or special demand for coins to be tradable on these new decentralized platforms.

I have had some back and forth with the developers of NVO exchange who are building what is rumoured to be a major decentralized exchange project when built will allow coins to load their own wallets onto their platform. The feedback has been very positive and we look forward to their development becoming a reality in the near future.
