He's trying his hardest, but he is a single person and has to calculate and pay 37 different members, as well as dealing with real life.

The world DOESN'T center around you, and so give 48-ish hours for payment, unless OP says otherwise.
Well, when someone says "later tonight", that's an admittedly vague amount of time, but even on the outside case, "later tonight" is never equal to 48 hours later, no matter how you factor in the time zones.
Stop complaining already. You're not entitled to payment.

I think you meant to say that the OP has been vague about when to expect that payment and that panicky messages aren't really good form since xbtec was online reasonably recently and asked us to wait a while. I agree that panicky messages aren't helpful at this point, but to be honest, your tone almost sounds panicky in trying to defend him. What's up with that?
Ok so for point #1; It is seemingly apparent that he is working alone due to his... Mild slowness in responding to other posts, and no associates being mentioned. He also has mentioned he has an outside job.
Point #2; If you look at even multi-person run campaigns, they ask for about 48 hours. They attempt to get it sooner, however.
Point #3; Correct. I meant that the OP was vauge and thus it's not necessarily a specific date. I was wrong how I types that part out. My text may sound panicky, however, because I'm getting annoyed with this seemingly generation of entitlement, and panicky posts or constant asking doesn't help to improve my viewpoint. I am not paid to defend him, or benefited in any other way. I just don't want people poking the OP consistently, as it just ads more stress to him. We are, technically, entitled to payment.
I've known the stress of a role similar to what he's doing. It's not fun being constantly bothered.
