CryoNote is intended to be an alternative to other CryptoNote coins because, our goal for CryoNote is to become a light weight, easy to use, fast version of Monero while not forking Monero's source code. CryoNote uses a custom difficulty algorithm (as seen above) which allows for protection against hash attacks, botnet attacks etc... This also allows for household/hobbyist miners to put that old once expensive mining hardware to use and make a buck. CryoNote strives for speed and anonymity throughout it's blockchain. CryoNote is still in it's very early development stages, and we are continuing to improve it as time moves on...

CryoNote was premined 1 million coin out of a maximum supply of 21 million, this is to pay for very pricy exchange listing fees (reference); bounties for things such as but not limited to, graphic design, social media content, forum postings, bug reports and other future concepts for CryoNote...

How did the premine take place?
The premine was distributed to our development team from the genesis block, this means we are not post mining any blocks except for the very first block within the blockchain. All blocks after block height 1, are mined by the community...
