I am trying to get back in full swing after the holidays and a few issues rose up for my day to day life.

v0.1.9

v0.1.9 is now officially in open testing. You can read the official blog post announcement and notes here: http://blog.crypti.me/test-net-release-v0-1-9/

This version has HUGE improvements in performance over previous versions and is a complete re-write of almost every facet of our client. The differences are noticeable immediately if you have been around and using Crypti for a while. I highly recommend everyone download it and help us test so we can ensure it is the best possible release client.

DPOS

As Max mentioned in his previous post, we have now hired a 3rd developer who will be working on custom block chains soon. Boris and Pavel are making great progress on DPOS and we are well on the way to completing our implementation.

Web Design

Many have been curious as to what is happening with the web design. The truth is that towards the holidays our designer sort of disappeared on us and was less than responsive. After some harassment, we received PSDs for all completed work up to this point and Max is helping complete the web wallet design based off of the already completed work with the designer. As it turns out, she had a baby and was fairly pre-occupied, which is understandable and so we have begun the final design piece on the web wallet internally. We had already completely the logo and website and had strong design elements to use to spruce up the current web wallet design (which we all were already very fond of).

We currently have a front-end developer building the new website and we should be able to launch it very soon. Our goal is to make it public as soon as the code is complete rather than wait. We are really excited about the design and looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

What's Next?

Now that v0.1.9 and the optimizations are essentially complete, we will allow a couple days for testing and then officially launch this release. The next release, 0.2.0 will be our DPOS release and will be another major milestone for Crypti. With the addition of the new developers, we are making huge strides with our client and core code that I think everyone will be really excited about!

As always, I will keep you up to date on any news! Happy New Year everyone!
thank you for update.

The whole cryptoasset sector is in the post-hype, trough of sorrow phase right now lead by the Bitcoin price decline. Tough to tell when Realization sets in and we start the steady, sustainable growth phase of next-gen blockchain technology. All we can do is average out buys throughout the trough until it eventually turns around.

And its only a very small fragment of the things which are coming soon. Smiley

People will see that the new test of the update arrived and that leads to many buys again.

Also many people who might've dumped on the way down could be buying in again.

Wulfcastle, he is busy with the designer and his regular job. I don't know more, but he is still involved heavily in several Crypti tasks. That's for sure! Smiley

Forgot one of the most important things.

- The loading times reduced from 40 minutes to 1 or 2 minutes! (!)

Sorry guys, I was busy yesterday evening. Else this would have been released yesterday already.

So v0.1.9 is going into open testing. You can all test it by your heart's content. If you find any bugs please report them to [email protected]. Please remark, that this is a testnet version. So this version is not running on the mainnet! This will come in the following days. If you have an old testnet crypti client installed, just delete it and install this new one.

How to install?

You just need to follow this guide. Please note, that you have to install sqlite3 now as well.

What changed?

Core changes:
- Complete revamp of the source base
--- 100% rewritten with an all new structure
--- Now the code even more efficient and clean
--- The blockchain structure changed completely (same data! But you can't reuse the old blockchain.db)
--- Also the P2P changed a lot to be more efficient and effective
- New API, it is now more useful for developers. You can find all commands on Apiary.io
- The blockchain.db is not stored in the memory anymore, this saves a lot of memory usage.
- Fixed all bugs with CPU (the cases in which the CPU went to 100%). Now it can only goes to 100% while loading the blockchain.
- The Peer/API moved from Express 3.0 to Express 4.0.

Client changes:
- There is now a label to see how many blocks are left to be up-to-date.

Where can I download it?

HERE!

I hope you like the changes. We just hired our third dev, he will start working next week. We also have a front-end developer for our website now. You can expect progress here as well. Once we have the new website ready, we will update the OP as well.

Great, just a quick question where is GreXX? He usually does the announcements, haven't seen him here for a while now.

Reality is stranger than fiction
But at this price it doesn't make sense to sell (IMO).

Yes, right now I can only see possibility in going upwards.

over the next month and a half. I have been promised some changes. Hopefully they follow through on those and we see a spike in price. But at this price it doesn't make sense to sell (IMO).
