If Bter is forced to close I don't see why it would affect Crypti. Bter doesn't even have any Crypti do they? I think they just have the tokens which people are trading, so unless they refuse to cooperate with the Crypti team for no good reason everything will be ok.

I disagree. Delays before the Crypti wallet release have ensured the blockchain will be rock solid. I feel so sorry for traders who have lost money here and for the Crypti devs who so richly deserve recognition for their excellent achievement.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. My BTC withdrawal from BTER is still being processed (despite being executed about 45 minutes ago). Crypti price is in freefall. BTER are being outbid by a renegade trader in the ransom negotiations. Deep man.

Although I'm having doubts if I'll see my BTC again (stuck in withdrawal), it's kind of amusing to see this go one. This is why I love crypto, wild wild west. But still, rather have my money back

I concur. Crypti price is getting creamed following the NXT hack of BTER. Fantastic buying opportunities await but I still want to know that the hack vector has been shut down before buying in again.

omg this is beyond bad luck. Crypto is doomed these days. Everything seems to fail or drop.
It is not bad luck, it is exchanges playing dirty tricks on us - again. This includes but is not limited to:
1. Announce removal of coin but once everyone panic and sell cheap (to you) just change your mind and resume coin trading.
2. Temporaly run into problems with coin withdrawals, same outcome as 1.
3. End up "hacked" by yourself to stir the shit up and cause everyone to panic, same outcome as 1.
Problem is that people see exchanges as good players but they are provably the most corrupted part of cryptocoin ecosystem.
Well, it's totally possible. Bter and hacker might indeed be tied...Errr, crypto land looking bad right now. Trust is out of the window.
