Right, say you just spent 1 BTC on Crypti and you get 100k or so coins. Are you going to sell them below the price you just paid?
I didn't mean that. Sure thing is that the initial price will be set by the people after coins will be distributed to the early adopters/buyers. It will be bigger than they paid of course. What I meant is that there might occur a panic sell after this 'initial price' it will start lower.
I am talking about it because I have already seen things like this. I was an early investor of Curecoin and now the price of Cure is a bit lower than initial investors paid for it. This is only one example. I hope it will not happen to Crypti but there is so big rush with current buys that it looks like it can cause same dynamic of sells short time after coin will be launched.
It totally depends, curecoin was a clone of bitcoin essentially. the majority of Clone coins that hold IPO's see a reduction in price below the original IPO value, some good ones manage to rise back up and above this.
But when it comes to coins like NXT , Qora , even NXT clones. things that are newer or 100% new and unique for the most part, they rarely see a drop in price lower than the original IPO price
