Yes, I encountered the lag on the lite client (we call it just Crypti now) as well. The reason is, that the API might be working slow sometimes. Boris already made some big improvements and we will release it with the huge packet the Dapp release will bring us.

So if it's far too slow, then close it and open again. Maybe the node you re-connected to is faster.

Lots of great work since my last post, congrats to all!  I've been on vacation and trying to catch up at work...

I've tried to use the new Lite Client for Windows with mixed results.  When I try to vote on new delegates, I click on the "CONFIRM VOTE" heart and a few seconds later I get a small black rectangle that says "undefined" that appears briefly and then disappears just under the blue "SEND" button.   The "Vote for Delegates" windows stays up until I cancel it, and the votes don't go through onto the blockchain.  Any idea what that's about?

The new website looks great.  Once I am successful with voting on delegates using the new Lite client, I have some recruitment ideas I'm gonna do for new Crypti delegates....

Hello Community,

Welcome to the new blog post for this week, one day earlier than scheduled. Today we happily announce the launch of our new website, after we gave you a teaser 2 weeks ago.

The last weeks our awesome designer, our new frontend developer and the whole Crypti Foundation worked very hard to release it. We felt that the old one didn't representated our vision anymore, we also wanted to have a unified look between all Crypti services.

In the coming weeks we will further update and extend some sections of the website and add new pages. One new page you can expect is a big Documentation section with API calls, guides and dapp information. If you want to help us writing guides, please contact us.

Oh my, nine years in development. Didn't know that.. That's hard to believe..

Maidsafe is much bigger and ambitious than anything else. Maidsafe has been in development for 9 years now, you can't compare Maidsafe with Crypti. Maidsafe is older than Bitcoin, and a totally different project, is a new network and a new form of transmit data

Maidsafe don't use a blockchain, but you can create unlimited blockchains on it if you need one, you can create and store any kind of data that you can imagine.

Maidsafe is gonna change the world. Forever. The next week they will deliver the first installer for Windows, Linux and MAC. Get ready.

Just wanted to thank you for the time that you keep on putting into giving us updates. Things have been a bit quiet in this thread over the last few weeks (I only get the chance to pop in around once a week here now), and you've still turned up and replied to people who have posted here and you've given the community constant updates.

Okay, so as I wrote above we changed a few things regarding the next versions. This decision was made after we discussed it at yesterdays board meeting.

Initially we wanted to release v0.3.1 which would fix a few very small issues. These issues are not serious and will not result in breaking anything.

With each new version release we have to 1.) go through rigorous testing and 2.) update 101 delegates about this release. We tested it the last weeks and things were going pretty slow, because Boris and our 2nd developer are concentrating on the decentralized applications.

Therefore we made the decision to simply skip this version and include the changes in the dapp release. Regarding this I also have some updates.

Let me tell you first the status of the new website. It is now completely coded and we are writing the content right now. This will take approximately one week.

For the website we hired a new frontend developer, we were very happy with him. That's why we decided to keep him under contract. Starting next week he will work on the mobile wallet which will get its very own release number (0.4.0).

Now back to the dapp release, which will have a new version number (0.5.0). Our other frontend developer, Vera, was working on the Dapp Store user interface the last weeks and she will probably finish it next week.

The backend for 0.5.0 still needs more work, but we are progressing every day. We hope that it goes into internal testing stage this month. It will be a huge update with dapps, sidechains, Dapp Store, multi-signature, performance enhancements and some fixes.

Yesterday we had our meeting and we changed a few things for the better. Will update you in a few minutes.
