The thing with crypto is no brokerage fee for trading (well.. 0.15% on mintpal is practically free), so it's free to sell and if you have enough time, buy back in when the market turns. There is no incentive to not sell when crashing.

i invested 18.4 btc at 31, now im at 7.2 btc and going more down. price have to rise about 150% only to break even 
sorry to hear. it's so crazy in this crypto trading. hold into your coin. you wouldn't sell for lose would you?
People shouldn't undersell,but so many weak heands hold coins,so in panic they do I guess

i'm not worried about the price personally i could sell now and still be way up, just sad to see how a thriving community, just goes silent, just because the price doesn't indefiently rise, it was 500 when i bought in less then 3 weeks ago now it's 100k down from 4 and people are like" ohh XC is dead'

Heh. Yeah, they probably think their work is done. It's fine really. This coin has little to lose from a dip in price, and I have lots to gain at the bottom.

it looks like it's infinite amount of coins to dump ...
When most people hold a few hundred to a few thousand coins is sure looks like those holding tens of thousands and more have at their disposal virtually infinite amounts...enough to control the price anyway.
It would be an interesting exercise to look at a coin (maybe this one) and see what would happen if one just traded the trend (perhaps wit some other secondary indicators). It's so incredibly tempting when a coin has been so high to think it's "cheap" if it's halved in value, but it's more about the trend and supply and demand.
Maybe we could start a thread here and pick a coin and apply a methodology and just mechanically trade it. Just as an experiment.
The main problem being that these coins trade 24 hours and can be thin, but it's a interesting game to play, if anyone is interested?
