I need your feedback on something... what do you think should be the min. requirement of posts before you can post in the marketplace?

What is the Market-place?

Where users will be able to buy and sell anything (legal in the UK) that they want from each other. Similar to the marketplace here.

Why do e.g. I Need say 20 Posts to be allowed to sell you 5 XC or 5 pieces of cake? The only Thing I can do then is posting nearly nonsense stuff to not get banned by fudding but to reach my 20-post-limit. What's your Intention for limiting the Marketplace?

To limit the amount of scams but I do see your point. We could apply marketplace access manually but that's another thing that will take time out of my day which I'm willing to do. However, I would rather spend the time on more productive things.

Also if your running an XNODE your 1000 XC's will not stake.  There is a feature in the wallet - reserve balance - which basically prevents those coins from staking.  Xnodes will need to use this feature so that the coins are available for the Xpool.

atcsecure could you explain why my POS mined transaction - 8dec417a38317262a23ab801abff0d4daa987d2f3a6a5afffa7dc1ab66bdfe8e

Says -5304.99 XC on transaction details?

Then it says 4.47 XC mined on the transaction log, then the main window says 5309 XC staked. Is this part of the Xnode feature?

Or perhaps it is designed to stop people trading while they are staking?

Last chance to get your remaining funds from xc.suprnova.cc

This evening at 20:00 CET  the pool will be shut down, if you have any funds left in the pool, they will be considered as donation.

thx

Will this be just for the REV1 or will it be a feature of XC in general so for REV2 as well?

Thx for your work much appreciated.

The wallet release is on track for tonight.

It will be mainnet ready, and have the XNode code in the wallet.  It is fully decentralized.

Just to clarify somethings as well - REV2 will have a solution to the bad actor problem.  Using a dynamic learning trust system, the wallet will choose the trusted nodes over the bad actor nodes.  This also will be tied into the fee system so it will also be incentive based.

I will also be laying out a very high level roadmap of what’s next, what’s coming and long term plans.
As part of this process, I will be putting together a complete business plan, which will be release later this week.

there is nothing wrong with commisioned work as long as it adds value to the coin, community or something else.
we can only imagine how much the dev has on his desk right now. juggling many aspects of such a project requires knowledge in a wide variety of skills. Project management and team lead is as important as the pure getting-dirty programming footwork. Having a bunch of capable programmers step in and close some of the open tasks is propably just the right thing to do.

This is why the XC dev has already done what took the DRK dev months.

In fact if XC dev can get this working properly this will actually be superior to DRK.

Anything the XC dev can outsource to someone else eg testnet, DNS seeder etc, he is doing so... which means he can spend more time on the code.

4-5 Dev + Dan is working right now on XC.

and bushstar from feathercoin join te XC team and developed XC Seeder - don't forget that  Cool

Fuck yes!

Bushstar is by far one of the more respected devs around! Not to mention one who has openly given his private details out into the crypto world.

So now we have two public figures, who have proven skills working on the one coin!

@mastermined

ur coins have min stake age and max stake age. each coin will have staked at least once in the max stake coin age period(again, IF I have understood correctly, cause im knew as well), but must have surpassed minimum coin stake age, which means u MUST have kept them at ur wallet, without making transcations, for that min period of time. After those specific coins have staked, they reset, w8ing to suprass min coin age again, along with ur new, minted coins. I dont think you need to have ur wallet OPENED at all times, coins age just for sitting at ur drive(at least thats what I gathered from other PoS coins as well). You just have to encrypt, lock and unlock wallet between some days(I do every day), in order to let the mature coins stake(you will see the process in ur wallet as a notification)

ok thanks, so all i have to do is leave the coins in the address and i get paid? do i have to leave the client open or just have the coins not leave the address? if i run a xnode i have to leave the client open all the time to mix right?
i GUESS that when you are an xnode then your wallet (because the wallet is the xnode) has to be opened all day Long (maybe it's also possible to leave it encrypted and still being a xnode).
but when you just want to stake then you are right, just leave them in your wallet and don't move them. i'm pretty sure that even moving coins from one of your XC-wallets to your second XC-wallet (if you have one) would reset the "timer" that indicates how Long your coins are in your wallet.

but you have to sometimes open the wallet, otherwise, if you don't open it for 1 year, then there are 3 possibilities:
1) you get all the staked coins you deserve
2) you get nearly all the coins you deserve and that "nearly" means you have lost the compound interest (yeah thats googletranslate, but english isn't my native, sorry...)
3) you only get the staked coins for the first 30 days.

can someone plz tell me which one of the three above is right?
i would advise you to open your wallet (and unlock it for staking to work) once a week, that frequency should be enough
can anybody tell me (and the one who originally asked) which of the above 3 opportunities is the right one? thank you

Haven't received a single reply yet. Bad Thing in my opinion, a guy on a Forum asks sth, another guy (me) tries to answer his question and but no1 else cares about. Is it just uninteresting? Is my question (and his too)  so stupid that even a sentence to reply is too much? I see "nice logo blabla" and "oh Price is so down" everywhere, and I've read that this Forum will move on soon so I can understand that you guys are busy. I Keep trying to get the Information so that i can spread it if i get asked.

My next question is also if there are any updates regarding the wallet release today.

The third one is, even if this Forum will be unmoderated/left behind soon, plz check the "multipool links" on the announcement. "cryptoalts" could be made a clickable Hyperlink, and These 2 chinese pools (one for x11 and one for scrypt) seem to have Trouble when I read this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/professional-xc-multipool-launched-for-x11-and-scrypt-mine-xc-after-pow-ends-627405 . Would be bad Marketing if we send the miners to a pool that doesn't payout...

Thanks in advance!
