Can you please correct the layout on the DarkNote.cc website :
In the third section , under Key Features , the text is cut off
on the bottom of each block due to wrong css-layout/font size .
I am viewing it with Google Chrome on OSX 10.9.5 version …

My guess is that they became a bit more popular after the asynchronous encryption technology implementation announcement. However, I doubt if there any practical benefit in it.

Happy to answer.
First of all: everything about XDN Hybrid PoW/PoS is a secret.
But i can tell you the idea:
1. Main coin units amount is in circulation, pretty soon we will celebrate XDN 1 year birthday.
2. Soon XDN reward will reach 150 XDN per 1 block.
3. After some time an additional PoS scheme will be added to the current PoW scheme. Miners will have their rewards, as always, and XDN owners will have an ability to have an interest for holding their DarkNotes.

Can XDN be mined using a rented miner on Betarigs? If yes, what kind of algo does it use? I thought it was cryptonote, but i cannot see any such option on betarigs, unless it uses the cryptonote algo internally and some other name externally. Can anyone with the adequate knowledge help me with this query please?

DarkNote's PoW algorithm is CryptoNight (CryptoNote is the of the technology including hashing algo, ring signatures and on-time keys and so on).
CryptoNight is not listed on Bettarigs. I think we should ask them to add it. Submit a ticket with suggestion, please
I shall do so, would also request anyone on here who may be interested, to post a ticket to betarigs so that they can include cryptonight coins in their list of coins. I am pretty interested in Mining XDN and XMR and if you have the same interest and do not have the resources (aka a high powered CPU), then i would request you all to post a ticket so they see some value in adding options for cryptonight mining.
