With Facebook officially under fire , this leaves room for solutions like my own to step in and gain traction. The server has been up for a while. Mostly working on a major update that will enable all crypto functionality.

This  Here!

A natural evolution in the exchange. At cost +reasonable profit margin.  In $dollars not btc prices.

Honest.
Clear.

If not a success with this project, this blueprint will be THE MODEL.

I have been seeing a lot of posts by users here and on discord complaining about the exorbitant amounts they are being asked to pay to add coins to exchanges. To address this issue,i want to make clear that while i do intend to charge for listing, my methods and costs will transparent. See below for a proposed cost breakdown

Here is how I calculated the costs for the unique wallets setup :-

For every coin :-

1x rock pi 4 model b starter kit, storage and shipping- $263.23

For every 48 coins :-

1x 48 port managed switch ~ $800

For all coins :-

1x UPS/APS  - ~ $8000 (haven't asked about shipping and used would be cheaper but less reliable and probably no recourse in case of failure)

1 custom server cabinet to hold all the hardware :- price unknown but should be < $1000

So per coin i am looking at a hardware cost of  ~ $ 300 (excluding the UPS and cabinet)

I'll add $100 for labour and even tack on an additional $50 for stuff like handling a swap/hard-fork. Add an internet cost of $50 for uncapped bandwidth and for electricity and cooling.

That comes to a cost of $500 to add a coin. 0.06 BTC at today's price. So even in greedy mode, if i go at 0.1 BTC per listing i'm still charging 1/30th of what i hear other exchanges charge.

So what am i missing ? The charges i hear are too high !

Now keep in mind that this is using the best available hardware compatible with my setup. Taking into account bulk purchasing and even cheaper SBCs for coins with small blockchains and the cost can be lower. Working with this in mind, It makes me wonder, why then do some exchanges charge as much as 3 BTC ?

To be fair idea of project is good but the situation sucks that currently facebook, whatsapp and possibly Telegram (which is seemed to be the most privacy protecting messaging app) will add crypto payments, then you would have a lot of marketing work to over win. In overall, your social network will be good for crypto enthusiasts but I highly doubt any social network will succeed now, even despite the fact how great idea is put behind it. You need a lot of money to succeed, need to be a billionaire.

True that there is a lot of work to be done, but i am hoping for organic growth, and to be faster to move on new ideas and technologies that the giants. Hopefully the strong privacy protection, features and versatility will be noticed and users will point others this way. By keeping up with latest tech and ideas as well as quickly responding to users requests for features, always online support and other pros, we can retain users and attract more.

Feel free to sign up and test ! Wallets are re-syncing so some apps will not allow you to do much.

Major issues in browser end to end encryption, it's too vulnerable. In the end I may opt to make the encryption available only in the app.

when it will be pulished for testing?

There have been some delays as i work out some technical challenges. An actual definitive announcement for a public beta test will be made once they have been dealt with.

Outstanding issues :-

1) Currently trying to test all wallets that should be supported at launch. Strangest thing is that some communities won't even help with compilation of their wallets.
2) Padding wallet funding ie, acquiring small amounts of each planned supported coin to pad wallets for apps, run tests on scripts, with emphasis on security and timeliness.
3) Legal consultations with regards to the built-in exchange, the credit market , user data protection etc

For every coin :-

1x rock pi 4 model b starter kit, storage and shipping- $263.23

May i ask why you decide to use a dedicated pi for each coin ?
Why not simply build a small server farm ?

You'll get way more computing power with 1 high-end "computer" (for ~1800$), than you'd get with 7 pi's (for the same price approximately).

Computing power is only a small concern among a myriad. For personal use perhaps that would be a great solution, but this is now a situation that requires considerations and possibilities  that would affect an enterprise.

This system offers more security, redundancy and developer friendliness while maintaining high performance for each and every coin, no compromise. Apart from handling exchange deposits and withdrawals , many of the apps on he platform will use these wallets too, so the more robust the system, the better.

To protect the system, and to keep my idea unique to me i will not discuss the exact specifications , architecture or release any of the code that keeps this system running. Suffice to say

I took into account the following :-

1) Dependency management
2) Performance issues from running too many daemons in a server .
3) Prevent a single point of failure for multiple daemons
4) Security
5) Maintenance is easier when I only have to take down a single sbc for a coin. It does not affect the rest of the wallets.
6) Developer friendly (so many scripts already written)
7) Lower power and cooling requirements per coin, this system can even be solar powered, or moved without taking it offline.
Cool It's unique to me, it's nice to come up with one's own ideas and implementations once in a while.

I can't stress enough how secure and incredibly redundant the system is in it's full form but as i said, it's specifics , especially on the hardware security and software side cannot be shared publicly

Skeleton of the Add coins interface :-

So if the data is correct , the moment payment hits the wallet, the script will compile the wallet, configure it and add it's market. If it should get an error, i get an sms and email to look at it so no delays. Target time should be two hours from coin payment confirmation to market readiness.

Completing the Wallet monitor model tonight. MAy also work on and complete the above mentioned method for developers to quickly add their coin/asset/token to Xequium with ease. From the looks of it, the easiest to support is adding Bitcoin clones,  so i'll start with that, then move on to ETH , Cryptonote and other code bases.

The clashing dependencies issues i've encountered on some wallet is resolved by each wallet having it's own sbc. Glad i thought up that design.

Additionally developers can login to a developer only section of the platform, where they can simply enter details about their asset/token/coin.

Basic information  like it's github repo, dependencies and build command and submit. If there is a free device on the network and the information is accurate, if they pay directly to a provided address, the coin is immediately compiled , and added to the exchange. Addition to apps like the arbitrage app or the Credit market will be on a case by case basis.

Users who spam posts/likes/comments will lose ALL, points and after two warnings, accounts will be DELETED Proper investigation should be conducted before taking this action.

I will like to talk about hosting and privacy out of your 3 worries. If you are good in Linux, you can get a Linux vps and host your project on it and it will protect you from third parties data theft.

Please reserve a spot for me in the token listing, I will send the token information to you before the 4th quarter of this year.

This is an outstanding idea. I wish you best if luck.

Hi

Thanks for your kind words and advice. Currently the social mechanism and desire for points in the users creates a social policing of sorts, however the process of deletion is not completely automated, an account is flagged for suspension by a moderator the suspended accounts are handed over to admins who then review the delete request. I think that we can re-work the process to make it a review board of randomly picked users, who can check the facts and maybe vote on deletion. This will require further consideration, so i'll put it on the "soon" pile.

Great, you can have DT members like this forum that can give negative feedback and the account will be useless.
Please don't forget about my token , I shall send it to you once completed.
Thank you in advance.
