Hello. Can someone help me ? Yesterday i've sent some Monero to Okex exchange from my wallet with default settings and coins are still not there. I've created a ticket to support and provided all requested information to them, including tx id, payment proof, etc, and then they just suggested to "contact the platform your withdrew XMR from for more information".
tx id: f96b2654c6788c22c2c9e48b958f8d026e54c6a5d24a544c5130036cfd2171b7

What should i do next ?

Which wallet are you using?

I'm using Windows x64 GUI 0.12.0.0 client
It shows zero in balance and it shows my transaction in History tab with all the details about it which was provided to Okex support with no result, coins are still somewhere between point A and point B

Could you try this guide and PM me the results?

https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/6134/how-do-i-as-a-sender-verify-that-my-transaction-actually-arrived

You have to use the address Okex provided you, the transaction hash / ID (obtainable from the GUI), and the private tx key (obtainable from the GUI as well).

I can't send you a PM since i'm a newbie Smiley
The tool shows:

This address owns output        0 with pubkey: xxxx for amount: 0.223716488662
This address doesn't own output 1 with pubkey: xxxx for amount: Confidential

Total received: 0.223716488662

That proves you correctly sent your funds to Okex. In other words, it's an issue on their end. I'd advise to, again, contact their support.

[1] GUI 0.11.1.0 should still be good for signing transactions as well as for new wallet creation "offline", right?

[2] If so, could an offline GUI 0.11.1.0 sign transactions from subaddresses on an online view-only wallet running GUI 0.12.0.0?

For some reason, GUI 0.12.0.0 crashes on my offline machine (W7 x64 netbook) which never had such issue with the prior version. Here's the GUI log content after it crashes; hopefully someone could figure it out:

2018-04-22 02:04:21.182   456   INFO    logging   contrib/epee/src/mlog.cpp:185   New log categories: *:WARNING,net:FATAL,net.p2p:FATAL,net.cn:FATAL,global:INFO,verify:FATAL,stacktrace:INFO,logging:INFO,msgwriter:INFO
2018-04-22 02:04:23.257   456   WARN    net.http   src/common/util.cpp:627   Failed to determine whether address '' is local, assuming not

[1] That should still work, but it'd probably be best to keep the versions consistent.

[2] That I am not sure about. I guess you could try and see if it works. If not, you ought to upgrade to GUI v0.12.0.0.

Try launching via the start-low-graphics-mode.bat batch file that is included.

Thanks! The batch file did it though obviously, the graphics is not as sharp but it works and that's what matters the most.

BTW, do the subaddresses (and the primary address) each have a separate balance or are they combined. I just wanna know what to expect before I take the plunge and explore it.

Has Monero been more profitable for miners after the fork, which happened several days ago?
Has new algorithm can be really ASIC-resistant?
Just only adding pow7 in your conf file. Ofcourse it will more profitable than Eth mining at the similar rig type.

The ammount you have send may  still be sitting  in your wallet.

That's impossible, as the transaction has been mined on the correct chain.

I don't think so, difficulty of Monero need to be adjusted some days. After that, you can join the mining party. What you should do is keep following difficulty of the coin, and join at the right time with appropriate difficulty.
Good luck and happy mining, bro.

Difficulty stabilised quite fast after the fork, with Monero prices on a bull run it's been quite good jumping in the first day

The isue seems to be not on their side. What wallet did you use? Does it give you the correct  balance after sending?  The ammount you have send may  still be sitting  in your wallet.

Monero Core Team
Whats everyone thought about Monero classic? who are backing this project? same technology as Monero? is it a fork of Monero?

It is another name for Monero Original which is the Bitmain ASIC fork; namely a continuation of version 0.11.x of Monero to keep compatibility with pre existing ASICs. The overwhelming majority of the community has zero respect for it.

with the recent Monero fork, Monero holders get free airdrop of Monero origin and Monero classic? Like in the case of bcash?

Monero listed in which exchanges? from where we can buy?

Monero is the only one true anonymous coin.
So if you like to buy Monero really anonymously,
well there is only one true anonymous exchange:

Very interesting.  I'm inclined to believe it's not a scam.
However, the danger is that if the feds get wind of it they will put the arm on the Cambodian finance ministry and force them to close it or require KYC/AML.
It's likely this won't last in its present form.  A bitcoin atm card that doesn't even require your name is too good to be true.
I was in Cambodia a couple of years ago.  Fun fact:  you can get U.S. hundred dollar bills from the atms there.  You don't even need Cambodian riels in Cambodia.  Everybody takes dollars.  You'll get the small change in Cambodian riels.  When you come back to the States you can give the Cambodian paper money away.  Some of the bills are only worth pennies.  You'll see no coins in circulation in Cambodia or Vietnam.

Thanks Millionero. Cambodia is one of the last free countries on Earth. So that's why it is possible. And they don't like USA here Smiley
So no worries... "This is Cambodia and we are sovereign country and we do our own laws." as Prime Minister said in TV.

I just love people that screaming it's scam because some noob wrote it somewhere and never ever tried...
Actually on this forum are few Legendary members using our ATM cards for months. Even in USA.
And everybody is very happy with our services.

If you think our site is scam please feel free to use any USA or EU based exchange website.

Would you have them drop in this thread and verify this or have them PM me?

Hi, we just launched a FORK EXTRACTION WEBSITE. WE ALSO TRADE YOUR NEW COINS AND SEND YOU BITCOIN DIRECTLY.

10% (+1.5%) for your private keys!

YES PLEASE!

He probably thinks "anyone dumb enough to fall for this deserves it". I'm almost inclined to agree...

I reported him but I'm not 100% sure about this one. I wonder if I will lose my 100% reporting accuracy. I probably wouldn't have done it if he wasn't a newbie but that just pushed it over the edge.

You should be safe on this one! He's a 100% cut and paste spammer. Smiley

Waow, very cool, this is the same first thread found and the comment is almost reaching on page 2000. I'm sure this project must be good, because it's clear that this project upholds the level of security.
