amazing price pump, dash is less than your market cap now.  Grin

It is no 6 at the moment. If it rise 5%, it will be no 5. If it rise 70%, it will be number 4. If it doubles, it will be no 3.

this coin has no limits at this point once people start using it on dnet more market cap will go to the moon

We need the main stream accepatance of the Monero, not just the darknet. But darknet could be a good starting point.

Okay, that swept 1.41 XMR plus .30 for the fee.  Brought my balance down to a little less than 4.  Tried to send 3.0 and it gave me the not enough coins bit.  Says only something like .7 available in red.  I have been mining directly to that wallet (0.9.4) so does this mean that balance is phony?

Appreciate the help

After you sweep the coins, you probably have to wait 10 blocks before the new inputs get confirmed.

10-4, thanks for the help fellas I'll keep at it

Thanks for the help. I found the tx id's of the 3 transactions and indeed the first two can be found via http://moneroblocks.info/ and the last one cannot. When I run rescan_spent though and subsequently run show_transfers the transaction is still there though.

BTW: I'm still 1149 blocks behind. Can that be a problem?

Possibly your tx was invalid and got rejected by other daemons. Had you sent a tx from the same address, but using another machine, within those 1149 blocks ? If so, you probably unknowingly double spent.

In any case, if you use a recent enough wallet, you should see that last tx as "pending" in show_transfers. If it indeed hasn't propagated to the network, you can "flush_txpool" in the daemon, and the wallet will soon notice it and switch it to "failed". There is a bug (fixed in the rct branch) which will need you to run "rescan_spent" after that in order to get the right balance.

But first, wait for the chain to be synced.

I send 2 transactions that succeeded and then a third that I'm asking about because it's not in the blockchain, within those 1149 blocks, but all from the same machine.

I'm using version 9.4.0 and I indeed see all 3 transactions as pending. I will try the commands after it is done syncing. I'm glad the chance of my Monero actually being lost seems to be extremely low Smiley

Synced and the other 2 transactions are finalized now and the faulty transaction is still pending. rescan_spent did not fix it so I'm now rescanning the entire blockchain (which is taking a while).

how can I send my last 5 XMR from my simplewallet?  Every time I try it says not enough coins due to tx fee and mixin.

I'd like to empty my wallet but it seems I need to keep at least 4 for mixin purposes...  Can anyone lend a hand?

Which version are you using? The command, which has to be entered into simplewallet, is as follows:

Code:
transfer 4
[]

The payment ID is between brackets as well because it is optional.

I know how to send, the problem is my last 5.  No matter what I try, the amount I try to send is too high.  It says I have an unlocked balance on 5.34 XMR, and I put in:  Transfer 2

But it still says in red text there's not enough coins for mixin.

Did you perhaps mine to that wallet? If so, you probably have a lot of tiny (possibly unmixable) inputs (dust). Try sweep_unmixable first to undust your dust and subsequently try to send again.

I wanted to come and congratulate you folks on passing us in the Coinmarketcap rankings. I hope you all enjoy your profits, and I relish Dash's new position as underdogs trying to overtake yet another currency standing between us and the top. I always enjoyed a challenge!

Cheers and respect,

Tao.

I have to admit that Monero has impressed a lot of people. I always liked cryptonote coins but my favorite one was Bytecoin, mainly because it was the first one, even though it was significantly premined.

Now, momentum is on Monero. The devs must take advantage of that! Smiley

Why do Monero and Dash community always compare the success of one to another? I can't wait to see their reactions to Zcash when it launches, since all the three are trying to address the same market

well, they are the largest anon coins around here.... doesnt make sense to compare with a coin that is not even released.

Correct.  They are the only two large enough to be on the public radar.

There are a number of Anon coins out there, still running, and some are as good or better, technically, but they don't have the distribution and large community.

What are some ways I can disguise my mnemonic seed?
