Isn't 'certified untraceable by the FBI' better than 'available at Coinbase'?

Heh... yeah, I love it!  Either way it's a positive spin  Grin

But, hey "why not both?"

Monero: The Best Crypto Currency: "Certified Untraceable By The FBI" Now Available For Convenient Purchase From Coinbase!

 Cheesy

I like how every coin is trying to imitate Monero in its superior privacy feature but none succeeds and when they don't succeed they say privacy is not important and privacy related coins should't be allowed in open market...  Like darkcoin/ X coin - they promoted its privacy as main feature but when they failed to contest with Monero they said - no - privacy is not important. Smiley "When you are not good at something just say it's not important"

Monero hasn't taken off like ETH and Dash because traders are waiting to confirm Coinbase accepting monero.
At least that's what I'm thinking.....

Is Coinbase that big?

Yes, I live under a rock.

Hi, not sure ofc, but have been informed by a few people it's not going to happen. Fluffy helped her out with her blog post about Monero. Disclaimer at the bottom. Google is your friend. USA Is tough on regs - btc is hard enough, don't see XMR at all myself living here, just my opinion though. Thanks, good luck to all - Let's hope next Gui update is soon! Cheesy

On the other hand, Kraken sitting afaik in the very same city of SF has XMR.

A number of people - Coinbase engineers - helped her write/research that report. All of them were listed at the bottom of the report as helping her. FP wasn't listed. Either she forgot to thank him or he was assisting her in other matters - namely integration.

If Coinbase is going to offer Monero I suspect it will now be after the coming hard fork.

I would say that this has scared off alot of investors and coinbase is afraid because of this as well.

It's just going to have to increase in value the old fashioned way. Smiley

So, Monero is so private the FBI is scared of it?

I can live with that Wink

Oh yeah! The community dosent have to live with just the coinbase hype. This project is much larger than that. Great projects focus on great things.

Remindes me of an address made by Andreas Antanopoulos years ago.  Essentially he said the more they harrass or try to control crypto, the faster it will evolve to resistant technologies.  Bitcoin may wither on the vine of bureaucracy, but those looking forward will work around.

The game must be to lure in a bunch of shorters before pushing the price up.  It is the only reason I can come up with for offering piles of XMR at less than 0.25% per YEAR.  Very few takers lately anyway.  Is there something I'm missing?  Seems like significantly higher risk than reward.

Hey guys, I noticed this little tidbit last night in a reddit thread.

Maybe was accidental, I'm sure he's under NDA etc and can't officially SAY anything really, or maybe it doesn't actually mean anything (?) but Fluffy said...

If you think that I'm not friendly with people trying to help Monero then, frankly, you're delusional. Ask JP and Daniel from Exodus, or Thomas and Nicolas from Ledger, or Kevin Zhou from Kraken, or Linda Xie from Coinbase, etc. etc.

...bolded emphasis there mine, LOL

i.e. IF coinbase really ain't planning to add XMR...?  Then what's for Fluffy to HELP Linda with?  Cheesy

More hints, clues, evidence, etc that it's COMING.  Time to load up may be running out...

Nice catch.  More markets and exposure can only be good.

I packed my bags a month ago.  Just been hanging out at the airport spaceport, waiting for the journey to begin in earnest.  There has been much drama at the other gates, for entertainment while I wait.

I'm to stubborn to go home, and too lazy to unpack, so I will just sit here.  Huh

Verily, we seem to have firmly broken the bottom of the triangle.  😢

Tis true.

Looks like some peeps are deliberately trying to play the other way and push for a reversal.

The 38.2% retracement boundary stands at 0.0187 and could even be pushed to 50% at 0.0169 before any significant reversal indicator could be initiated.

They'd be crazy to try and push that forward, especially since BTC is loyally observing the downward channel boundary (currently at 1006 USD).

Note the unconventional cAPITALIZATION!
March 26, 2017, 12:04:52 PM

This is legit taken from ancient biblical texts that were recently found in an old cave:-

Quote
"And lo, I looked up to the mountains and I saw before me an ascending triangle. And I said to Gabriel, "Gabriel, Gabriel, come forth and see." And he came forth and he saw and he said, "Whoa whoa. It's a triangle and it ascends and it is triangular and it goes up." And I looked and I saw that it ended on the eve of March 31, 2017 around 7:15. And I said "Gabriel, what does it all mean?" And he looked and he looked and then he looked again, and lo, suddenly we saw a great vision beyond the triangular ascension that triangulated itself while also ascending itself. And it was a vision of a bull, which was made out of fire and bits of piping hot earth and stone. And it seemed to be mouthing the words: "Buy monero you bunch of dicks" but we knew not what it meanteth. In any event, I was overwhelmed with excitement so I then ran behind a small bush where I ejaculated."

Verily, we seem to have firmly broken the bottom of the triangle.  😢
