Hello,

1. RX 480 Msi Gaming 4GB Hynix Memory,  flashed with Anoraks Bios mod.

2. Core 1205@960mV, Memory 1950@975mV.

3. I have 2 rx470 and one rx480.

4A. At the wall entire system read 450W, Gpuz read 78-85W for RX480 With Monero and 710 h/s, 524w.

4B. With Zec entire system read 480w, Gpuz read 90-94w and 220 h/s.

4C. With ETH entire system read@wall 560W, Gpuz read 96-99w and 28-29 mh/s.

Grettings!!!

4. My best pulls 780W and worst is 820W.

I like your idea for a information gathering thread, but you are unclear on your own results. Do you mean your best (3) 700-705 Hash rig you get 780W or does this one draw 820W? I ask as the hash/watt ratio is important for most of us who pay for electricity.

Are those 8GB models or 4GB ? RAM overclock seems high for 4GB models - I can get at best around 1950 or so with 4GB (Elpida)
For the RX470 Sapphire's I get about 2025 overclock.

I will work with you on that if you wish - but give me some time to do tests...

-mclock 2025
-cclock 1150
-cvddc 950
-mvddc 950

That's my setting for the Sapphire RX470 OC 4GB

I see a lot of figures thrown around that I struggle to either achieve or believe. Therefore I have a few questions I'd like you to go through, and I will also answer them and try to help where possible.

Please avoid dick swinging and shit slinging, and please don't exaggerate your figures or recordings; try to be honest.

I know we're technically competitors in this market, but lets try to make it better for everyone(?);

1. How many 480's are you working with and which versions?

2. How stable are your mining rigs?
How often do they fall over or do you pre-emptively restart them?

3. Best and worst hash rate on the machine?

4. What is your Power Draw from the wall?

5. What is your priority? Power usage? Hash rates? Stability?

6. How do you apply your *clocks (with the program / Wattman / Afterburner)?

7. What are your *clocks? (Core Voltage (mV), Power Limit (%), Core Clock (MHz), Memory Clock (MHz))

1. I have 18 RX 480s Sapphire OC Nitro+ split across 3 miners. Their ASICs are split (1) 65%-70%, (2) 70%-76%, (3) 78%-88%.

2. Stability appears dependent on mining software used. With ZCash I had well over 2 weeks stable (before an update released or I tweak something). However with XMR they don't seem to be going beyond 24-30 hours (I thought I had them at over a week too however with the same *clocks applied I'm not getting near that lately.)

3. (1) 688-692 Hash. Total 4150 (2) 697-702 Hash. Total 4200 (3) 700-705 Hash. Total 4200

4. My best pulls 780W and worst is 820W.

5. My priority is a little bit of everything. I try to have a happy balance as I believe it's pointless squeezing out an extra 5 hash per card at the cost of another 100W from the wall. Simple not financially beneficial.

6. I personally user Afterburner. I disable Wattman and MSI from start-up to avoid conflict however check the 'apply oc at start up' with MSI. If I change any clocks I restart the computer and have the miner boot with startup.

7. All -96mV. +20%.  (1) has 1300 CC 2125 MC.   (2) has 1300 CC. 2150 MC.   (3) has 1320 CC. 2150 MC.

If you have any questions that you think would be beneficial adding please just ask. Let's work together. Thank you
