Thats great idea! So Moonstone market is the first market to trade Blackbytes!? Looks like we need to inform the Byteball community Smiley

I have a question though: what the BYTEBALL asset is pegged to? I mean is meant to be GigaByte or just Byte, or something else?

don't go to byteball community yet. i still haven't figured out how to transfer blackbytes. there's GBB asset in the moonstone blockchain representing blackbyte in (GB)
if anyone has a blackbyte address, let me know i'll give you some for free to test the transfers

I don't have access to my BB wallet right now... Maybe tomorrow, if you still need it then.

Blackbyte transfers are pretty easy, but you need to pair the devices. You need to generate a pairing code and send it to other party, so he can add it, and then you can chat and exchange the blackbytes. Transfers of blackbytes can be done by "requesting payment" when you are in chat with the other party.

ah the BYTEBALL is in bytes. the GBB is in gigabytes. sorry for that. i made the GBB asset a bit later and decided to represent gigabytes of blackbytes.

That could be pretty confusing. It would be better to add GB (or GBYTE) market instead (or in addition to) BYTEBALL. I already see some unrealistic buy orders in BYTEBALL market (so somebody might've been confused already).

Byteballs = Bytes
GB = Gigabyte Byteballs

Blackbytes = Bytes
GBB = Gigabyte BlackBytes

i have created the Blackbytes assets.
http://node.moonstonedac.com:8080/#/market/GBB_XMS

start placing your bids since i have no idea yet how much is it.
later i'll start borrowing it and start selling what i borrow.

you can also start trading GBB for SmartBTC
http://node.moonstonedac.com:8080/#/market/GBB_SMARTBTC

let's set up the trading of Moonstone, SmartBTC, and Blackbytes

while we wait to get listed in an exchange

there's a market-pegged asset named byteball in the decentralized exchange.

http://node.moonstonedac.com:8080/#/market/BYTEBALL_XMS

if you hold any byteballs, i can replace it with real byteballs.
you can also borrow byteballs using your XMS as collateral.

Very innovative stuff! Keep up the good work Smiley

I'm not sure if alcurEX  is  a "normal" exchnage - it calls itself "multi exchange trading site" not sure if this is the right place to request listing of a coin.

As far as I know, Alcurex has both external trading capabilities, and its own markets too. There was "alcurex.org" before, and it was a normal exchange. The new "alcurex.com" should do the same + external exchaneg trading. For example the MRC (MicroCoin) market is definitely local to alcurex.com.

So it makes sence to contact them too. Alcurex is run by Halibit (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/halibit-106120). He is a good guy, knowledgeable, and typically responsive though a bit slow (he is from north... Sweden, probably Smiley). I think he could be interested in hosting the first market for a promising currency.

Here is the thread he is reading from time to time: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annexchange-alcurex-v201-458732, or probably he could be contacted directly via PM.

Yes, good idea. Having only Bittrex is not secure.
And in general, starting with smaller exchange is often beneficial.

For most exchanges which don't have bitshare styled wallets there is also a technical problem. For those with steem it should be a breeze ...
