All I have to do is open the client, open the console, and type setgenerate true?
or will I have to type setgenerate true -1
or setgenerate true -2?

if i restart pc do i need to type setgenerate again?
If you aren't using a .conf file, yes.so has there to be more in the conf file?
or is one line with setgenerate enough?

wallet doesn't open without a .conf file though
Then you must be doing it wrong.I downloaded the setup file and simply opened the qt client and it worked for me.

I'm getting about 50 primes per sec total between my two computers.
Thats huge. Sitting on 0 myself.

By that prime someone will figure out that the prime is actually factorable and so the block would be orphaned
