I'm looking forward to this.

I feel a coin that produces something useful is a lot better than Bitcoin.

You may have noticed that the Peer/PrimecoinTalk.org forum header banner now includes the Primecoin logo in it. I originally had my designer create this version to see what people thought, but I never had him finish it and provide me with the high quality versions. I recently noticed that the main Primecoin website as well as the subreddit were using this version of the logo. I assumed the community had accepted it, so I asked my designer to finish the rest of the logos. Below you can download all 32 files...

http://www.mediafire.com/download/har305vpdute770/Primecoin_Logo_Files.rar

The Primecoin logos help keep with the consistent branding we've seen in the Peercoin and Peershares releases. All the files are pretty much the same. There's the icon only and text only logos, the light and dark versions, horizontal and vertical versions, with shadow and without and transparent. The text logo uses the myriad pro font like the others. The only thing really different is that the text logo doesn't include a leaf design because Primecoin isn't designed to be energy efficient like Peercoin and Peershares. One thing is that this logo probably shouldn't be used at the 16x16 size, because it's hard to see. I would recommend using this icon instead...

Also, I had these made up because it seemed like the community was starting to accept this version. If the community wants to go another way, they're more than welcome to. In the meantime, these are available for download now.

Primecoin will feature two pages in the book called Cryptocurrency "The Alt-ernative" the Beginner's Reference

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483187.new#new

Please donate to the below Primecoin wallet address in order to help fund this project:

AJjzXu6SDSH7oS2uM6NfJmHE8qyx5CJ2ts

It will have 2 pages similar to this:

If you spot any spelling or grammar errors, these are easily sorted.  I do have a full time job as well as trying to get this project completed too.

Rather than say Peercoin is the bronze to Bitcoin's gold, we should say that Peercoin + Primecoin is a replacement for Bitcoin and Litecoin.

I would say that such statement is arrogant and biased. How can somebody claim something like that? Based on what reasoning?
Based on the features that Peercoin + Primecoin provide over Bitcoin + Litecoin.

It was an interesting read thanks,

I just started mining cpu solo, how do I get paid out? thanks

As a solo miner the coins will appear in your wallet when (if) you find a block. No block - no payout.

how likely is it to find a block?

Enter 'getmininginfo'
Read your chains/day value
Multiply that number with (11 - current difficulty)
Divide 1 by the resulting number

Voila, that's your average number of days between found blocks.

=== NODE IS OK! ==
I recommend you to use a pool to mine, ypool for example supports primecoin. That way, a certain reward is guaranteed.

As shown in http://xpm.muuttuja.org/charts/ XPM difficulty hasn't changed for more than a month. I think at current price with current miner software/hardware, XPM difficulty has reached balance with electricity cost.
