And we've got a new 2CC 11-chain as well, 127 digits !

A TWN of length 13 has been found : http://primecoin.21stcenturymoneytalk.org/index.php?block_height=340499 origin of 105 digits ! That is one to put in the record books.

For those interested, I've programmed a bot to screen the blockchain for new record breaking primechains. You can follow it on twitter https://twitter.com/OldEee_Miner. Apart from record primes it also tweets about the price and it's own (really, really slow) mining efforts.

Thanks . I just got to know from the page that even for a 13-chain the difficulty is still 10.

The Datacoin network has also produced several notable top prime chains. While there are no records, some chains make it to the top three. The difficulty is still below 10.

12 1CC: 95, 94, 93
12 2CC: 92
12 TWN: 99, 94

11 1CC: 103, 99, 99
11 2CC: 102, 99, 99
11 TWN: 99, 98, 98

10 1CC: 106, 105, 105
10 2CC: 106, 106, 105
10 TWN: 110, 108, 107

9 1CC: 115, 114, 113
9 2CC: 115, 110, 110
9 TWN: 110, 108, 107

8 1CC: 103, 102, 102
8 2CC: 106, 105, 104
8 TWN: 110, 105, 101

7 1CC: 100, 98, 98
7 2CC: 103, 100, 98
7 TWN: 99, 98, 98

6 1CC: -
6 2CC: 90, 88
6 TWN: 84

So Datacoin is also helping with those mathematics? I was asking myself about that because it is a fork it may not help with that work...

Yes, Datacoin does the same work. The risk of duplication is probably negligible.

I updated the Cunningham chain record list three days ago:

http://users.cybercity.dk/~dsl522332/math/Cunningham_Chain_records.htm

Again Primecoin improved the records for Cunningham chains of length 10 and 12.

If only there was a optimized GPU miner, then the records would really start dropping like flies.

The new Cunningham chain of length 13 is very imressive!

I already updated the Cunningham chain record list.

http://users.cybercity.dk/~dsl522332/math/Cunningham_Chain_records.htm

And Jens also updated his list for Simultaneous prime records:

http://users.cybercity.dk/~dsl522332/math/simultprime.htm

Henri also updated his BiTwin record page end of August:

http://www.primenumbers.net/Henri/fr-us/BiTwinRec.htm

Terrific! Checked listprimerecords and it's not mine  Sad or maybe it is my ypool block ?  Smiley
I did some investigating and there was only one person on Ypool that found a block around that time. The address didnt match their name so its not them. I think it was someone who was solomining that found the chain. I know from talking in ypools chat that someone has probably found 11 and 12 chains.

Any one want to update the record books?

yea shouldn't someone be tracking this so that an article can get published some day when some new prime is discovered?

i would do it but i don't even understand the mathematics behind this... just happen to get a few xpm because it sounds interesting  Tongue
I agree, would be nice if someone kept this thread uptodate.
