Those options in gui that we can usually only reach with console are a very good idea !

New Wallet v2.0.0.3 is out!!
A new build with some cool new styles and features, but not a mandatory update.

Changelog
- Expand check and repair wallet to delete orphans
- Add repair wallet to GUI
- Add hot swappable themes
- add stakesplitthreshold
- add debug shortcut to overview page
- update unlock for mint and relocking logic
- add transaction filter
- remove old IRC code

To install the themes you will need to have the wallet turned off, download the themes.zip from the release page, unzip the themes folder to the same directory that holds your .exe . You can switch themes on the fly, and you can even edit themes on the fly too! Have fun Smiley

https://github.com/presstab/ratecoin/releases/tag/v2.0.0.3

And a big thanks to iDunk for the 64 bit build, and to FuzzBawls for the OSX build!!

OSX users don't need to download the additional themes.zip file, all themes are embedded in the app already Smiley

My wallet seems to be stuck at zero connected peers, I have added the only 2 nodes I have seen listed to my conf file. I also tried using the bootstrap, my wallet is on block 113244 thanks to that. Are there other nodes I should be using, or am I missing something here?

Try these:
Code:
addnode=213.118.198.15
addnode=82.46.79.119
addnode=79.40.53.148
addnode=212.243.7.37
addnode=65.50.96.63
addnode=94.9.68.125
addnode=84.54.149.152
addnode=68.224.6.180
addnode=129.125.144.84
addnode=85.25.214.175
addnode=82.66.55.40
addnode=109.153.235.22
addnode=66.30.80.136

Thanks for the quick response, those worked, now it is syncing.

Any word on XRA getting on Cryptsy??

Yes, any word?  Smiley

An update on the new wallet progress:

I was able to fix a few bugs such as the lock/unlock not returning to the correct state after sending a tx, themes are fully functional, and I have now added the ability to lock/unlock your individual coins in coin control in bulk with the normal checkboxes so that we won't have to right click on each individual output and click lock/unlock.

Now I just need to wrap up a few more tweaks such as adding stakesplitthreshold, and the wallet build will be ready Smiley

Ready when listed on Cryptsy?  Wink

I've been holding since the very start when PoW was still active, in fact most of my coins were mined myself. Since the original dev bailed and Presstab took over, I've been actively maintaining the Mac wallet/daemon.
good job sir!

I'm configuring my pc to support the development (when and where possible  Wink )
Now I need to finish the libs compilation and then build the wallet by myself. Just a couple of days to understand QT and everything else.. and I'll be ready!

I got in as soon as I heard presstab got involved with the coin, seeing other members helping with  wallets etc and saw a great buying opportunity as some nice fat sell walls were set between 60-80 sats...  have been buying more up to 160 sats a while back. I don't have a lot of time atm to actively play the market so for now I just stake.  Cool

As for staking I have larger blocks locked and blocks of various sizes on the loose with most of them being on the larger side at the moment. I may lock down a really large block soon although I am still not sure what would be most efficient long-term.... Like have multiple blocks and a bigger chance on a daily basis or set aside a block for half a year.. I still have to think about it....

Cheers

I was here fending off FuD a full week before Presstab even showed up. Thats about like standing there when the thing was born. Oh how time flys. Thanks for all the work Presstab and team.  Fish

Initially I staid away from XRA, I got in when Presstab (ninja) posted the takeover thread. Even though his initial intentions were just to keep the coin alive since the original team went MIA (than miraculously reappeared with some sorry excuse upon  successful take over of the coin), but I knew his involvement alone would guarantee increase in price. My problem was, I couldn't buy fast enough, without mooning the price and the dumps were far in between. Now I know Presstab initially said he would like for someone else to take on the "lead" Dev role, but with the consistent improvements and updates coming down the pipe plus great support from other devs and community members as well, its safe to say no one is more qualified and this is officially (dare I say it) his second coin.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now the fun part... STAKING!!!  The coin stays true to its name, there are various ways to strategies your staking no matter if you hold large amount or small. Do you want to receive higher rates with various blocks sizes by locking them long term in different brackets? Do you want to go after quick min stake of 100 by accumulating weight fast with large blocks without locking? do you want to get the most for the bang by creating bunch of tiny blocks? (iDunk, I am looking at you), or combination of techniques?
I wold love to hear what strategies you guys are using to stake.
