How is it a "good investment" when they can regulate the price all they want by releasing more XRP?

Because its in their best interest to make money and not the other way around.. so if they start with funny stuff and lose their credibility XRP won't be accepted as currency nor as a paying method thats why....

Anyways they dont regulate the coin is self regulated as far as i could read, every transaction a portion of it gets deleted and the makers plan to release smal quantities into the market to keep it from going too high or too low depending on circulation.

Thing is trust on the product.. and when you have major banks ( i know they are the devil ) backing it up its not necessarily a bad thing but actually the other way around.. i'd say these guys are the next apple to some extent as in people that invest now will earn some good cash once they estabelish themselves fully in the market.

Go check their info, i actually invested 5k on their coin a couple months ago time will tell if it pays off or not.

Well XRP is better for the new investors as its price is still less as compared to ETH and Dash. Although XRP will reach the value where ETH or DASH is at, but it can give new investors a chance to earn a lot if they invest in XRP now. XRP has a great future and already many institutions are accepting it as a form of payment.

Wow, good for you. I bought mine when it was already a four digit price but still a good value though. Thinking of holding the coin until a certain amount then take capital and just leave the profit.

they give the value to their coin not very different than fiat currency, very centralized and have almost infinite supply, can be replenished at will, and why i recommend to stay away from ripple it's not a real coin, just an IOU, for now ripple is only used to pay their employees, hope it help

Ripple is a good alt coin, although the fame of this coin is not really good, people more familiar with litecoin or doge coin which ranked lower than ripple, but ripple has never been reported for bad incident , it just really need popularity boost, ripple has been rank in the 3 in coinmarket for a long time, its time for ripple to show its existence

its not centralized, already institutions , colleges, offices and public are running validators, they cannot create or mine a single new coin, its pre-mined and supply is limited, infact every transaction destroys certain amount and every wallet reserves some as immovable... the supply held by company will be locked for institutional disbursement, so that "stability providing" institutions can have reserves..

These 2/3 coins are not going to be dumped on the market asap. They will be locked in beneficiaries`s accounts for a certain period in order to avoid price crash.

They are a private company, and they are centralised. What would prevent them to modify the code to suit their needs regardless of what holders need, want, or think ? Is the code even public ? I doubt that.
