no one can say for sure what will happen in 2025, be it RP or any other coin, but seeing the movement of XRP in 2021 shows a lot of progress and maybe this can be a consideration of XRP's feasibility to be maintained until 2025, but an increase will only happen if the developer was able to show a good level of liquidity from XRP, all decisions are still just betting on a risk and waiting for what will happen.
At this time to find out whether the project's strength is feasible to be used as a long-term asset or not is to look at liquidity, this is what makes investors believe, but I don't want to keep XRP for too long because I'm worried that events like the end of 2020 which will drop significantly will happen again.
We can wait for the next bull run for XRP so we will have a chance to sell it at a high price and wait for another time to buy back XRP again if we believe that the price can get down and up again in the future. Hopefully, we will not see the same thing as at the end of 2020 instead of having time to sell XRP and make a good profit. Many predictions for XRP to increase more than $1-$2 but it is not easy for XRP to break the highest price can reach that price because that will need more supports to lift the price.

If you planning to invest purely on stack of XRP coins, just wait for the better buying opportunity. The potential is not bad but you have to wait for the lower price in order to be able selling on higher price points. The potential  is low on XRP compared to other centralised altcoins, so if you can find better alternatives try the alternatives. Otherwise, XRP can hit $2 price mark in 2022 surely.

XRP will recover, 2025 is a year after the next bitcoin halving so I think maybe you could be looking at $5 or $6 per XRP, if bitcoin performs as will be predicted. It could be higher than $5 or $6 but I’d make that as a safe prediction imo.
Well we are not 100% sure about this, the price might get that high or maybe somewhere around $4 I think. They issued that XRP ripple has been having for a long time now has really affected their stand in the market, and has brought them down from the third position to the seventh position right now.

So, we can’t really tell how far this is going to go, although he still seems like a lot of investors still believe in them and hoping for their progress and a win after this case. 2025 is still a long time from now, so before that time comes I believe there is probably going to be a change that will help us determine where XRP will really be heading to at that time. So, for now we can’t really tell exactly what it is going to be, although we can be positive about it.

The near future will be more realistic for a future in which time has many changes that we cannot know. With XRP personally I believe it will remain one of the top coins in this market now and in the future, despite the regulatory issues involved as I think will be resolved. I have a very positive thought with XRP that the time to 2022 will cause many surprises in the market.

I hope XRP can continue to surprise me, I have never hesitated to hold XRP in bulk and I think XRP will skyrocket to 20x if we can hold it until 2025, the thing that makes me optimistic is that XRP goes through a tough test when they get lawsuits.

I know that so many people don't like XRP for some reasons but if you do this question is for you, what do you think about the future of XRP? I'm planning to buy some and hold for long time, is this a good plan or a bad one? How do you see the lawsuit affecting XRP on long term?

It's been a long time, I held XRP and it's since 2019, some new altcoins will keep coming and bringing new ideas, you can choose any coin as you like, recently sologenic and Binance running Airdrop for XRP holders, I see The XRP community is very compact, I can see that from the many enthusiastic Airdrop participants who post sologenic projects on Twitter.
I totally agree with your opinion, until now there are indeed many fans and investors of XRP and really remain loyal even though there have been problems several times, XRP can still survive at a fairly good price and not sink too deep. so that everyone can confirm that XRP has a very good share and there is always potential for the future even though it takes hard work to be able to get back into the coin rankings.

so there is no reason to be afraid to hold and become an XRP investor because the potential created has shown that XRP is still good.

? How do you see the lawsuit affecting XRP on long term?
Lawsuit seems to be passing on xrp. I think they are already won it somehow. But I am not a really great fan of xrp since the whole system is rigged. Mostly they got the supply and the owner can dump it anytime they want. That's scary the centralize part of the xrp network. I remember that many transactions from their own treasury.

I am not a fan holder of XRP, But I cannot deny that when it comes to conversion into fiat Ripple was too helpful to me in terms of lower fee om withdrawal, maybe in terms of long term it is one of the good to hold. But I don't have any idea what could be the price value of XRP in the year 2025, possible it could be higher than before or lower something like that.
Yes, no one will know how much the price will be in 2025. If the price really reaches $5, then the holder will be happy because they can sell after holding for a long time. I still have some XRP that I bought a long time ago because I did not sell all of the XRP I have in the last ATH but besides that, I already bought some more amounts at the bear market. But I am not a holder of XRP, I am just a person who wants to make money from XRP and only a temporary holder.

I think XRP will be here to stay, and even if they lost their case, I read somewhere that they are going to move to some countries that are friendly to crypto and who doesn't look at XRP as as security, they mentioned Japan and probably UK.

So no doubt that XRP will and can set a new all time high. It might take some years though, but if you have been holding it for years, it make sense to just continue to accumulate and hold for the next 3-4 years.

Honestly, that's a long year to hold a coin, especially XRP who pump up about 2x after the bitcoins create a new ATH. since it will be likely pump again after years from now, it would be a good idea since that coin has already proven to stay in the market after many controversies. One thing you need to understand if you really wanted to pursue your plan, you need to ignore everything when something is wrong with the market since your main goal is to hold it for 5 years and when a sudden pump up will happen after when you reached that, don't wait for more, sold it as fast as you can or you may not see such pump again and you might delay your plan for more years.

At the past time, I am sure that holding XRP is safe enough moreover at the time, the coin is on top 3 of coin market cap.
But after the problem faced by XRP to SEC, I am wondering should I hold XRP for a long term investment? I am not really sure about it. Moreover if the issues with SEC is spreading again and will become blunder for me like some past months ago.
I will see the prospect later and see right kow for short term trading investment.

and besides, the target of the OP to year 2025 is very long for me. in crypto, you are talking like the lifetime of a coin already. so if you are considering crypto investments for long term, if you can choose more solid project. we don't know how long they will be under the radar of SEC or if they will indeed fully resolve their encounter with SEC. i do like XRP as they have cheaper tx fees and you can find them in most trading platforms. actually, this alt is a very good alternative when it comes to payment method, cheaper and fast. but long term - you need to keep up what are the plans of xrp team for this coin.

I think XRP look like as stable coin and not profitable for long or short term holding. After SEC cases XRP never raise to higher price and always stuck above $1, I think let invest and looking another coin can give us much profit how ever many coin can pump 100% few months later after holding. Like BNB as worth investing coin for long or short term holding except have staking and launchpad moment on Binance, not only profitable with BNB value but also we got chance can buy new launchpad coin.

There’s still no final decision about that lawsuit and I think that’s the reason why XRP is still having a hard time to pump but also stay on a good position despite of that. I still see a good potential, yes there’s a big risk and if you are ready for that better to have XRP now and wait for it to pump again, you’ll need more patience for this.
The recovery will always depend on the result with that law suit but in the past months, XRP was still able to pump despite of having such pending case so maybe there’s still a good chance for XRP to rise again. Three years from now might be a good year for cryptomarket again and with XRP, its future is still intact and good, this may take time to recover but it can be more worth it especially if you are holding XRP as well.
Right, if they win the case then obviously it will be very big not just for XRP but for crypto market.

But SEC's batting average is 100% as far as I know on cases they filed against crypto projects regardless of what is it. So the chances for XRP is very slim here in my opinion.

Nevetheless, investors of XRP shouldn't be discourage, maybe in the next years it will still have consensus and full support from crypto users.

people have too high expectations about these coins because indeed they are actually quite good and with fast delivery and are backed by some famous people and even prominent people in some big countries.
But again, it is very difficult to settle their case with the SEC at this time and like it or not. The case they are currently handling is only running in place and there is no clarity so that it makes their prices very stagnant as if they are running in place.

I wouldn't say investors have to high expectations on XRP, it's that it was already present during the height of 2017 bull run, stays on top of the rankings, even have it's time of so called "rippening" - replacing bitcoin on top. However, when we entered the bear market and with the emergence of new projects, it was relegated below and then SEC filed a lawsuit, causing the price to really goes down hard.
