Most of the traffic is on Bithumb, because there are no trading fees there, the same accounts have been trading back and forth in order to inflate the price, this is a giant price manipulation, the same thing happened with BitcoinCash recently...who can seriously believe that a Korean exchange could have 5 times the traffic of Bitfinex  Grin

" Customers of the South Korean exchange Bithumb witness that, during the last take-off of the Ripple price, the exchange platform did not allow placing orders to sell below a certain level. One of the users of Bithumb published a screenshot from the Korean forum on the Reddit forum..."

Decentralized exchanges such as Bitshares & NVO are needed more than ever.

Bithumb price as of now ~$4 , everywhere else ~$2.5 ...IMH take your money and run  Roll Eyes

Your lies are easy to reveal:

You did see that "fixed price coupon" option right ? means you pay a small fee to trade billions....

So you admit you pay and its no "no fees"?

Just a healthy breather guys. Corrections are nescessary to allow healthy growth.
The last month growth couldnt go on forever, that would create a bubble that could burst.

Dont worry, it will go up again

Let's hope it drops to the ground... ripple isn't a cryptocurrency, it's a digital token owned by a company:

this is a long though very interesting and wel written read:
https://cryptoyoda1338.wordpress.com/2018/01/04/the-truth-about-ripple/

quote:
"XRP is 100% premined, Ripple holds 60% of the supply, controls which nodes are selected as “trustworthy” to confirm transactions, while they have paid nothing to create those tokens that people are so willingly buying at $4+ per piece and thereby make the creators insanely rich. Let us call it what it really is, digital fiat, the renewed version of the debt-based traditional fiat system, leveraged by latest technology – which eventually has nothing to do with cryptocurrency whatsoever."

I'm in crypto since 2012 and am sincerely disgusted by the the action in the cryptosphere these last couple of weeks...

best regards

I've been paying attention to XRP for more than $0.30, now it's more than $3, and it has increased tenfold in just a few days. Who can tell me what's going on, causing the XRP to surge? Is XRP worth long-term ownership?

Nothing is going on, they're making pumps. Remember it came here from $0.005 and it almost made 1000 times return compared to old prices at the beginning of 2017.

This is amazing no the other hand it's worrying me.

Has anyone else used a Legder Nano S hardware wallet to store their Ripple?

I have and it's been fine, but when I try to send some of it to an exchange the exchanges tell me to include a 'Tag' with my transaction or else my Ripple will be lost. I can't see anywhere in the Ledger send option to include said tag, has anyone else come across this?

EDIT:  Ah, all sorted, 'advanced mode'  Grin

So many Bitcoin shills forgot that not for a so long time their market was manipulated and dominated by Chinese & Japanese exclusively at different point of time.

Japan dominance finished woth robing 1mln BTC.
Chinese dominance finished with just closing exchanges.

Also the pump that shitcoin btc had, also was leaded by Bithumb.

This shills forget the hand that feeds them.

We are now getting serious FUD from across BTC shills, but now is different, now Ripple reply to such shit talkers and aithist.

The one who can read and think will do one thing: Buy

Now many are expecting a significant drop in XRP to buy this coin. XRP shows a good amount of capitalisation in the short term.
