Lol, just compare circulating supply of ripple coins and total supply of ripple coins. What will happen when all those coins not available on the market now are pushed into the market? Nothing good.

"The Sun" newspaper, not noted for it's take on cryptocurrency (usually sleazy celeb stories) has commented on ripple !

RIPPLE is the fourth largest cryptocurrency in the world but despite its recent growth, it still remains an unfamiliar name to most.
XRP, Ripple's native currency, has taken the banking world by storm, soaring from under $0.01 to $0.79 a coin in under a year, with it currently worth around $0.76. But why did its value suddenly increase by 4300 per cent?

Why did it rise? Ehm because it's actually useful instead of vaporware Smiley
Google ripple and news, its all over the internet Smiley - "wHy cOiN inCrEaSe"? Cheesy

XRP when actually promising, but is currently experiencing a price reduction when compared to the last week. If XRP up again I think it would be an awful lot of devotees.

Ripple speculation in my soght.
It will goes maximum at $5 no more in the near. But when people using it alot for transactions and more ripple got burned every day for paying fees and developer doesnot add the coin in circullation. The price is goes up every day. In my sigh ripple price will goea up along with used of it. More institutional entities use it for banking or sending money it will make price goes up and ripple in circullation decreased.

When I first encountered Ripple, it was still at $0.18 a few months ago. Now because of the announcement that Coinbase will add Ripple and other altcoins to the fray, it seems that more and more investors are willing to get into XRP. I've bought a few though, just decided to give up all of my TRX for this.

I would speculate that it's kind of possible for Ripple that it will reach at least $1 before 2018, and $15 after 3 months.

15$ is very high I think because it will increase the fees, then there is no benefit for using this coin.
also the market cap will be very high.

Increased fees? Lol this isnt bitcorn herr haha.

Btw google it quickly for me!?

HOW MUCH FEES DID THE LOCK UP OF 55BLN XRP HAVE? AND HOW QUICKLY DID THEY SEND THE 20 BLN IN $$$$ TO THE ESCROW ADRESS?
yeah thats what ive thought young researcher, u need to work harder!

About this. I would also like to point this out

This is ripple technology not XRP ! XRP need many confirmation and of course it's not send in a few seconds. Keep that kind of graph for craps ERC20 airdrops. Anyway it was a long time we didn't see it move on the good way, good news. It's a long time I wait for $1 to sell quarter of them - I hold a nice bag since 2015.

Hey I was trying to withdraw XRP out from kraken to my wallet. I'm planning to hold these token for years and years so I have to send it to a safer wallet.
Upon withdrawing it asks me about "Integer ID representing the recipient of the transaction." just what does this mean in kraken? This is the first time doing this to them.
write a ticket send to their support maybe help you. I dont see this problem before but I think the quick way is search google or contact support

Go in the advanced settings on your ledger and look for the destination tag. I think this is what you are looking for Smiley

Its a no brainier. Xrp was 1000 sats before its only half that right now.

Once the original volume comes back and it's at 1000 sats x $20000 BTC it will be close to $2.00.

That's without even being listed on coinbase it's a buy and hold.

you had me at hold.. im still not convinced by the ideology behind this coin but im convinced its going to play a part in the crypto world in ten years..

Thanks!

Here is the relevant paragraph (emphasis mine) :
Quote
As digital assets have become more popular, many have realized that these technologies weren’t designed to handle high levels of volume, and as a result the transactions are slowing from seconds to days. To solve this issue, Ripple built their own Payment Channel specifically designed for XRP, the digital asset native to XRP Ledger. An XRP Payment Channel allows transaction throughput to increase to tens of thousands of transactions per second, bringing our scalability to the same level as Visa. With the capability to send money as fast as a credit card swipe, XRP Payment Channels have the ability to transform the way people send money and the payments industry as a whole.

Non long term hodler here atm. How do you think that ETH price will change compared to XRP? Would it be safer to sell it for ETH now and buy it again later when there is correction for XRP?

I'm new here, but bought some XRP a couple of months ago. I have absolutely no idea what the price is gonna be by the end of the year, but I don't expect much correction. Although I truly believe during next year is going to go up till who knows where. And what I know, is that there might be a lot of people trying to buy XRP at the moment, and they simply can't. I've got some friends that have been trying to set an account for weeks, trying to get verified, and no way. XRP is on the news, on the papers. One colleague fwd'd me an email from bittrex saying they're not accepting anybody for the moment because they can't simply support the heavy load they're getting. As soon as this situation is normalized, just imagine what would happen with the price.

So, as you may have noticed, I'm holding, and will at least for 1 year. Then we'll see where we are. Hopefully way above.

Interesting. Can i ask you where do you come from? Because its so fascinating how different it is with these project localy. For example, where i am from, mostly i can see on the news about bitcoin and some local companies (viberate,iconomi,SunContract,...) They was never any public reports or coverages about XRP,ETH,...

I'm from Spain. Obviously the mass media here is talking every day about Bitcoin, but the last couple of days I've heard they've mentioned XRP (a few times) as a currency to keep an eye on as "the new bitcoin". (In terms of investment return, that's the only thing they care about, not the technology itself.. the say NOTHING about what this is all for, but investment).
And globally.. just google it, you'll see (from the last couple or 3 days) articles in Forbes, Fortune, CNBC... you know the audience of these Smiley Bloomberg just added prices for XRP, LTC and ETH to its terminal service.. "which is used by major banks and investment houses worldwide." (quoting).  These days is not that easy and quick to invest in criptos if you don't have a verified account already...Investors (and traders, of course) are coming. Probably not only for XRP.
Cheers

Oh, that I don't dispute, it's still very favorable to xrp Smiley
I was just pointing out it could have been better with a little more explanation.
U can find more about it on their website, and they can handle 50.000 tps if needed Wink
