Not going to be surprise if it got the marketcap if BTC when banks starts buying them. $8 is gonna be possible. If would stop the fud but start buying every dip of XRP. I'd be a millionaire already when it reached $8. Not going to dump still as I'd like more.
XRP should easily triple. XRP was 10000 Satoshis when XRP is recovering when XRP reaches 10000 Satoshis again with $17000 dollar Bitcoin it will be $1.70. That's just recovery if Bitcoin is higher than $17000 it will be higher. Think about it.
With all those huge institutional investors in ripple, a market cap on the level of bitcoin would result a price of roundabout 8USD / XRP.. if this goes beyond what we see in todays bitcoin mcap, joly cow this will be >10USD.. this is absolutely feasible and even in a few months!

Just have 1k ripple , trying to manage to buy more and HODL , someday that 1k could cost a lot!

i think they are quite the opposite but you knwo, money is money and both projects are very strong and will sure go up a lot in 2018

my banker told me to buy ripper at 0.25$ but I didnt listen to him because I dont like bankers. But now the price nearly doubled, it's crazy I wonder why it raise so much. Now my banker is making fun of me for not listenning to him
Ripple will be a constant gainer I believe. Don't buy it expecting to get 10x gains or anything like that, but I suspect Ripple will continue to raise 20% per year once it has settled down. What are you talking about ? It already gains 10x, actually it gains almost 2x in 48 hours ...
a very surprising growth from the RIPPLE to the end of the year. Was the good news? although they are always a lot of ripple on the news but for some reason don't grow. RIPPLE probably doesn't want to concede fourth place Litecoin. 40% growth is certainly impressive

Ripple will be a constant gainer I believe. sorry man, you and a bunch of ripple haters on this forum missed the ripple train
don't invest with emotions or you will miss out like this one. ripple is going to be worth several dollars at least someday, so it's still early to get in. 
Now here the time comes for large cap altcoins. I am always a strong believer in Ripple. This coin has real utility and potential which most of the coins lack. I am long term hodler when it comes to XRP. This appreciation of XRP will go strong till 2018 start. If Coinbase is listing it, then that is another boost. In a period of some days, XRP is coming for $1 and I think Coinbase news will take it to $1.5.
I would like to hear people's opinion on XRP/Ripple. News, Trends, Concepts, Technical Issues... anything pro or con that might be indicative of it's survival or growth opportunities in actual real world use cases. Or things that indicate it's failure.
Here is my two cents to start it off, starting with a Disclaimer.
Disclaimer: I have weighted portfolio of Bitcoin (5 - 10%), Ethereum (70 - 80%), XRP/Ripple (10 - 25%). I'm a HODLer, not a Day Trader,a nd reportionments are done rarely based on trends. My purpose of this post is to try and determine whether a repportionment of Ripple is appropriate. And I am currently of an equal mind. 33% to lower stake. 33% says stay hte course. 33% says increase shares. So real certainty here I tell ya! LOL Hoping someone will say something here to un-jam my mental logs.
My current facts as "I" see them....
CURRENT PRICE: Ripple is doing absolutely nothing. No real motion in any direction except sideways. Only recent facto that may be contributor is the court case that allowed prior founder (McCaleb) to unload his billions of XRP at a current rate of "0.5% of average daily volume for each day of the week, including weekends and holidays". So hardly anything of much substance, however, the fact that the price hasn't gone down means that there are at least enough buyers to keep the price even.
NEWS: I keep a very steady eye on Ripple, constantly trolling news, webs, boards for info. Again - nothing. Almost a total black hole of current news. The only recent "news" are name dropping tidbits about SBI Holdings in Asia wanting to use Ripple. Microsoft Azure being open to Ripple blockchains. R3CEV hinting at Hyperledger open to Ripple use cases. Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) running a Ripple Blockchain Trial. Press Releases about 42% savings to banks using Ripple. And vague references to Interledger, which is sort of analogous to Hyperledger or Lightening network in a way..... talk, no real world scenarios yet though. And all of this very hypy-vague. Just little tidbit trickles of "News", "non-News" actually, that basically says, "Hey, we're alive."
GENERAL THOUGHTS: I think Ripple/XRP IS still alive, and due to the nature of its business model, is in "secret development" mode. I mean, you won't see news, until you see news, but whe that news does come - it may be a hard break. My opinion is that will most likely be up (obviously - I DO own it), but I guess it could be down, or it might even be just a really really slow up if the news is not dramatic enough that other coins (Bitcoin/Ethereum etc) aren't also releasing big news, and thereby suck up all the investment money that might go into Ripple/XRP - thereby blunting the reaction. However, it could go the other way,a nd we could get good news out of Ripple / bad out of Ethereum/Bitcoin, and the pressure could be exacerbated up. Also- the whole "premined" aspect doesn't bother me that much. With all my crypto investments I am looking primarily at actual eventual use case scenarios to determine value. The 2nd tier money coins (Lite, Dash, Monero etc) are of no interest, and even the Utility coins (Emercoin, Maidsafe, etc) seem a bit too spiky/dodgy and subject to market manipulation/risk to me.
Ripple is obviously a top tier player, but a little lacking in discussion at present. Thought I'd fire up a topic.

What do you guys think of xrp, will it rocket like ltc that 5×in one week, i know mainstream coins will rise, but i just wonder can it run faster than eth?

What a day for the ripple holders who are holding it for a long time because suddenly the price jumps from 0.25$ to 0.5$ in short period of time. I think people are waiting for this from many days how ripple boat will start and we are seeing it now.
Yes youre right mate It only proves that hodling a token for a long time will give you a huge reward like the holders of Ripple I wish I can buy it more in dip because I believe time will come it will continue to make waves in the future we will see it in the next few months or years as we all know many banks today showing interest on integrating ripple on their system.
