I am like a bag holder in XRP Smiley
That is true but I am a true HODL too

I am waiting LOL

Lol. I still believe XRP recovers and breaks ath if not this year then it should happen next year. I want to see how those mentioned before as top banks interested and will use Ripple technology.

Its staying on $0.20 for weeks already. It will be moving up in time, this token is built to work for long term investor so those who wants to profit quick by dumping after a spike, may not be profiting much. XRP had grown much just this year so the next years will have its new leap.

Why  are  you so sure  ripple  in the future   will go higer?  It is  against the  internet cripto  principles,  and  have   a big  market  cap  and  big coin supply, so  i  am  only asking  you  why

i dont see any reason for it to go lower, its held steady around this price for a while.
<---Buying XRP  Smiley
XRP is just try sell their blockchain technology to bank. not their token. so their token does not have much value

again with this? they are using XRP Roll Eyes

I doubt if XRP will ever reach to $1.
it got massive supply..

Yes, it does have a massive supply (relatively). And yes, all the tokens are pre-mined.

BUT

What no one takes into account is that every transaction on the Ripple network requires a small transaction fee in XRP (much like Gas for Ethereum). But since there are no XRP miners, these fees don't go to miners. Instead, they are burned. Every single time theres a transaction on the Ripple Network, there is less XRP in circulation.

I'm doubting many people here lack a firm understanding of economics to I'll explain further. When the quantity of a commodity decreases, the price increases. The demand stays the same (or even increases), while the supply is steadily decreasing. This is what's called "deflation" (opposite of inflation, where a currency is worth less and less).

Are there any calculations about this? Like how many XRP have been burned already?
I didn't know this so thanks for pointing it out.
I'm shure when all the big banks will use XRP one day, the small ones will follow and then XRP will skyrocket.
Hold Ripple for 5 years is what I say.
But I think SWIFT is making their own blockchain.

AI has the potential to revolutionize trading in Crypto, and for interacting with blockchain technology in a variety of ways.

I talk about AI and it's areas of intersection with crypto and XRP in specific:  https://xrphodor.wordpress.com/2017/09/05/artificial-intelligence-and-crypto-implications-for-xrp/

When will the new xrp increase to $ 1?
big question mate and I think we will wait for much more time as we seen that in every attempt to pumped up big bag holders sell their coins
so its been an up and down scenario and bitcoin is bullish so 1$ per xrp will depend on how the btc will stop and be steady for a while.
We will definitely see $1+ in 2018. So keep holding your bags until we reach there. News about implementation in couple more banks and we are there.

Seriously you think ripple can reach that price? I dont see it possible.. There is too much supply, a lot of billions of ripple in circulation right now, if every ripple reachs $1 then it would be a mess, imagine if it gets to more than a dollar, i dont see it possible or happening in a near future, maybe it can go to $0,50 at least, or maybe a little more.

$1 is nothing and when it does cross $1, do you think it will never go higher?
well i think it will cross $1 , then head towards $5, $10, $20+...time is the only thing.  Cool
I am sure it will go much higher than $1 in the long term. Those who hold will be rewarded handsomely in the future.

Sure it's not decentralized...

why do you care whether or not it's decentralized? 99.9% of people in crypto are here to make money - you're playing yourself if you think people actually care about ethics. bitcoin is not decentralized, yet people still keep buying the fuck out of it, so what's your point?

is this is a well known xrp feature but the real question is: does this count when xrp is traded on exchanges?

A deflationary currency only one of its kind.

Things like this are another reason that I am bullish on XRP in the long-term. Sure it's not decentralized, but the good side of that is that there are literally full-time employees with skin in the game doing everything they can to make Ripple a success. I'm sure they have a lot of things in store for the coming years :-D

It'll probably get there (to $1) after XRP actually gets implemented somewhere of consequence. Until then it will probably just just keep riding the waves.
