What we do with XRP is irrelevant; whether or not it's added to Coinbase is irrelevant. Whether it goes from $0.20 to $0.40 due to our speculation is irrelevant. That's just short-term price movement, and is negligible when compared with the long-term goal. We, the general public, are not Ripple's target market. The money we throw around is tiny.
If you're interested in XRP, then this coin requires a lot of research to understand, much much more than most coins. Once you've read up, and understand exactly what Ripple are trying to do, you'll understand just how phenomenally ambitious this project is. What they are attempting is mind-blowing. If they succeed, XRP will be huge, and far and away #1 in marketcap.
The question is: will they succeed? Personally I think they have an extremely good chance. But don't take my word for it. Do what I did: learn about how international banking works, and especially learn about counterparty risk, as this is a crucial point. Be careful with the XRP hype. There are billions of coins in existence and the team holds many of them.
It was good when it was worth very little, however even at $0.01 is still expensive considering the number of tokens in existence.
If it drop below $0.01 I may get some myself but if it doesn't I'm out.

Price is going well now. Its not a fast as before that it goes up quickly to $0.40 and down, but its climbing up one step at a time. We'd have to wait more than a years to finally see its going well.
