XRP is a real sleeping giant.
Once they secure the backing of some FIs, its only a matter of time before XRP flies high.
Nah XRP is done and dusted.
Their distribution model was so centralised that its against the crypto spirit.

That sucks you can't be against the crypto spirit to make money.

Big things happening for Ripple, i'm surprised that no one of the Ripple team is on this forum and updating the crypro currency community about it. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/santander-blockchain-ripple-international-payments/

Ripple is like Loyyal - they have far bigger fish to fry than are here at BTC.  Grin

Thats because you are in tight with ribbit/lloyal.

Nice alias.

Your group is one big insider circle jerk.

I can assure you that I am, in no way associated with anyone on this thread.
I just resurrected my Ripples in Gatehub - approx 5000 woot, woop! Not much of a bagholder!

However I have been stashing RBRs (Loyyal) - a few BTC worth and it is that what got me thinking about Ripple again - even though they are in two completely separate spaces - their structures and methods remind me of each other. As does their absence of any interaction on BCT.
I have more in Waves than Ripple and, as they are direct competitors of sorts, makes me more inclined to root for Waves over Ripples.

Of course, this is BCT ALTS so you are right to have a healthy scepticism about any goings on, here!   Grin

If WAVES can deliver, they will provide a good competition to XRP.

I think the fact that Ripple continues for form real partnerships with actual financial institutions is the best evidence in support of future appreciation for XRP.

I agree, the current distribution of XRP is a big problem, but it also means that Ripple itself has a greater incentive than anyone to engage in activities to increase the price. As FIs come into the Ripple.network they'll also have an interest in perpetuating the Ripple network.

XRP coin has some potential. It's worth holding, the mere fact that it's price has not fallen all this time shows that it will one day spike.

That literally means nothing when you are talking about a centralized system as old and well know as ripple... Did you ever think some things aren't mean to be volatile? There are no large gains to be had in ripple.

I think Waves may stand a fair chance at replacing ripple, not an endorsement just my opinion.

I have to admit after being involved in the cryptocurrency economy since 2013, Ripple has never caught my eye.

I think it was the pre-mine/centralized image portrayed by ripple.

I don't know of one person that is into ripple. And ripple is in the top tier of cryptos.

This could be an opportunity for ripple.

I recently tried using ripples gatehub and it sucks. Left me with a taste in my month never to bother with ripple again.

Just my 2 satoshis.

Is it just me having problems uploading ID to Gatehub?
