It might not be as easy as that because during the 2017 bull run several banking institutes were testing Ripple so it affected the price. This time round there is no news of fintech companies testing Ripple on a large scale.

If the bull market continues - and it shows no signs of letting up yet - then I expect a big surge from XRP to push it over $1.
It has tested $3 before, and the project just gets stronger and stronger, so I think we can expect a return to this sort of price before too long. Probably with some bumps along the way, but to get to $1 and manage to hold the price seems well within the bounds of possibility.

As long as XRP hits $1 this year it would have been a huge success,,, no matter what else happened the year before. I think we all knew it was totally overvalued at anove $1.50 so I would be surprised if even in 2020 it goes to $2 or more. Still, a lot of surprises can be in store for this type of centralized token. Real use case maybe, but fact is no one is using it not even the Ripple banks.

I guess it totally depends on what your definition of word "using" is...currently its used for same tasks as BTC (trade, store of value, payment in some shops...)

I remember those times when XRP was pumping hard and it was the most profitable in the year 2017.

Why did it took 3 months for them to give you the access?
I have been one of the oldest investors of the projects I also have it on gatehub for years. I forgot my password but I do have the email access. I might also try to recover the access if soon I can see the price hit its ATH again.

I am sorry to hear about this. If you had sold them for even a little less than their all time high of around $3.60 you would have made $10,000. It would have been a great investment return on $600.

Considering you paid $600 and got back $750 at least you made a profit, many people investing in all sorts of crypto make losses as well as gains.

I was expecting a bigger pump after Coinbase listing, but I guess people have started reacting more normally. Normally, it wouldn't matter if a well established coin like XRP gets listed in another exchange, there are so many that support it already. But since people were usually reacting in stupidly FOMO ways, I was expecting to see a 200% pump!

I think it is great news that Coinbase have added XRP. it has only been around 3 weeks they listed it so it will take time to see where it stands but I hope it heads towards the $0.50 mark and keeps that as its stable amount for a few months.

That's for sure, but we should be happy with the current situation as after the long wait, we finally see XRP rise and it's a big rise as it goes as high as 20% IIRC.
