If it looms too good to be true, more often than not it is Wink.  Looks shady to me

the domain was registered 4 days ago (http://whois.net/whois/xtrememiners.net) yet it claims to have sold out hundreds of units.
also, engineers don't design microchip casing for the looks.

do you think they are scammers?

I only purchase what is "real". My outlook is if these guys had a real product they would show photographs, not renders. It seems like common practice for these companies to "sell the vision" to raise capital to put towards production. I buy equipment for right now, not 8 months from now. This is highly speculative stuff and you need to price in the significant risks when not dealing with a sure thing.
