Maybe because there are unpleasant rumors, some even predict rival monero..ini is a joke or a statement because I only cursory reading in an article.
I already bought XVG loss, I originally bought at the price of $ 0.25 and now the price is at $ 0.16, but I hope the price will rise again
I have invested in Verge long time ago and sold at few times gain. Should have holded it for longer time. The recent XVG price increase was IMO because John McAfee tweet that mentioned XVG among other anonymity coins. Still a very good long term investment.
And it went down... because of some fake news apparently.
Verge is a nice coin, I am lucky I got it under 50 satoshi and having 100K verge now, I still believe it will go further up and close to the one buck sooner later later in the 2018.
XVG is good coin. it have superb project. but I'd not recommend you to invest in it right now. Because now it price is high. i think next few day it going down.

Not for me, price is too high already compared to where it was only a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't be surprised if some sort of correction is coming with XVG.
Regarding to this project before making a decision, or you can use your spare money to avoid stressing yourself just in case you experience a big dumped.

Not for me, price is too high already compared to where it was only a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't be surprised if some sort of correction is coming with XVG.
maybe verge is good but afther actions John did with other coins, cryptocomunnity start think he is just someone who make money with this tweets so i think verge will go down again.
Verge is a solid coin, big community, lot of innovations in the future and its a kind of private coin, it wont fall back so much. I expect 1.0$ by the end of 2018.
If you haven't bought this coin before this pump, I'd not recommend you to invest in it right now. Its price has risen because Mr. John McAfee published the post about this coin in his twitter.
I will not buy Verge for now. I bought it 8 months ago, it did not move at all and was hibernating. When the movement of the market began, I sold it dut not a big income. I had no idea that it could make me rich. But I do not really want to buy it back.
Generally, when a coin distances itself from its bottom price this much, it means that it will possibly dump in future (unless it has a very good team, supportive community or a real world use case).
I'm thinking about get some but I can't make sure if I need to do this now. I have problems and questions about timing. It may decline a bit and we would get cheaper XVG coins after it.

I don't understand the hype, at the cirrent verge price you're better off buying some stellar lumens.
Why did it go up so much in the past days? Seems more hype than substance.

I don't know, But I think it is just only a pump and dump to get the attention of the traders for them to invest on xvg which is now happening again way back January to March I think 2017.
I was out when it made x3 but I do not think it will make another x3-5 in short-term.
