Instead of talking trash, lets just analyze for a minute.
So Verge asked for donations then a crowdfunding, instead of 3m, according to few posts got somewhere 2.5m.
Investor or so called new partner asked for 75m XVG.
So if $2.5m isn't enough to raise 75m xvg, what would you do?
What I like about this coin, is that it looks like the team doesn't hold majority of its coins, its community based.
Otherwise why would they raise money for 75m xvg ?
In the end we all forget that if a cryptocurrency is a "currency" then in some point it has to get into a circulation. I'm not talking about circulation in Exchanges, that's only a trading process.
So can we please wait for few more days to see where we're going?
Please understand either we'll have successful future, or this coin will become Trash.
I don't think the team can afford any negative impact.
So I believe 99% success.

From the moment i saw shady moves i sold everything.

Make a backup of your existing wallet.dat file (always do this anyway)
Replace the new QT exe with the old one.
(Re)Sync and all should be well.

You want to use the current (new) wallet to sync to the current chain.

can the old QT verge wallet be used indefinitely or the new wallet has to be used?

Actually it was about 3 days with all over 35.000.000 XVG gone if i remember right. Ask an XVG miner and they tell you how long it took as a normal holder you mostly did not notice it.

yes im serious.   a 51% attack is totally different.   this was an attack on the TIMING, not the hash.
51% is 51% (or more) of the total hashrate of a coin.
This was something in the code that left open a window for too long.
 (im not a dev, so couldnt explain it correctly)

The exploit was fixed in 3hrs, and then sent out to the chain.

   read some other articles on what a 51% attack is... form an opinion.

Today i sold everything.
To many red flags and a self-moderated thread means you are shouting mouths you dont like what they are spreading.

Did you see that millions of verge coins were transferred to different addresses when it supposed to be for the "major" partner?

2)How about that sunerok claimed that they need it to pay LedgerHQ that was a lie?

Today i sold all my verge coins with no profit or loss.

    Dont listen to someone else. (either side)

   goto each aspect and look for yourself.
make y our own decisions.

Dont leave your coins on an exchange! Ever.

and make backups of all of your wallet.dat 's  (name them differently!)

He's a washed up Poker player. Hasn't been in crypto long enough to make educated guesses let alone tell you what to buy and what to avoid. Most of his own picks are suspect. As I've always said, "do your own research" but DON'T DO IT ON YOUTUBE!
