pools have been finding blocks just fine. i've been keeping an eye on all of them.

Our android wallet has been updated on the backend. Windows wallet will be out shortly. If you use a mac wallet, please update to the newest release.
I love this coin and its community. its good to see other devs opinions and care for the future of crypto market. i hope some of you guys are sending private messages to xvg dev for some suggestions. as a trader or investor in this market, thank you so much for your involvement.
here is my technologically blind, investors opinion.
Looking at the entire market, xvg is one of the few coins that's keeping up with Bitcoins bloodshed. averaging 800 sats, XVGs BTC price is in the very good stand. the way I'm looking at this, is if by any chance BTC drops down majorly and xvg manages to stay above $0.05, we will profit majorly via BTC. but if BTC rises back up to it's highest peak and xvg manages to stay above 800 sats, then we'll gain strongly via USD.
i'm holding, i know the third option is possible as well, but the involvement of so many devs in this community, gives me strong confidence.

fter seeing the market of this coin and seeing the support of the investors and other supporters in this situation I got that the community of this coin is really great. I found that this coin worth to get a partnership for which the developers were much happy and which not any other coin can get. As I am evident that in the past when Ethereum faced an issue of hack then the price was dropped too much and when any bad news comes in bitcoin then the price of bitcoin drops deeper but a bad news in Verge did not harm it and the rise in the price continuous today and it is increasing more and more with time. here is my technologically blind, investors opinion.

Good spirit my friend. It looks like we're about to pass 1200 sats, and if it manages to keep it self above 1000, then by the end of April I might afford that vacation i promised my family. lol

revoking an "announced" hardfork (the block "2040000" ) 8 hours before it happened leads to this mess
exchanges are now on completly different chains, as there was not enough time to get wallets updated to a decent version

thats not true at all. we already spoke to bittrex and binance directly and had them update, as well as most pools.

i have sent XVG from pool to Binance 8 hours ago, 5 and 2 housr ago - still nothing yet!!
If you go to Binance "Balance" tab... it says "Suspend" in the Deposit tab. Click the icon next to that and it says "Wallet Maintenance.. Deposit Suspend" Hopefully they get it up soon
it is now suspend again, it was not some hours ago. However, at least my XVG got transfered there right now after 1 hour and 45 minutes.

i have sent XVG from a coinomi wallet to Binance over 1 hour ago, nothing yet. Anybody else having such long wating times? Or actually anybody successfully moved XVG today?
what algo would produce the most coins on 4 x 1080s? And has the windows wallet been updated yet?

Most likely you correctly speak and now everything will be restored not soon. But maybe such tests are necessary that passed through difficulties and time, so if the project stands and will go to growth, then it will be a great cause for the developer. So as know what will be still ahead, unfortunately nobody knows the future precisely.maybe he's new, and doesn't remember this happened to ethereum for 2 weeks, instead of 2 days
update has been sent to all pools and exchanges last night. new mac wallet is available for update (on github releases page), android servers are being updated right now, and should be back online within 1 hour. windows wallet will be on the github releases page shortly.

Hi. I see the wallet fork update release in github, downloaded the zip file (windows), read the instructions of creating the .conf file, but I do not see an executable file to run the update install. What am I missing? I did not see any other special instructions to run the update and can certainly use the help of the community. Hoping the answer doesn't make me look too dumb

While I believe that your assumption has some merit, it does not appear so. Verge performance continues to over-perform. Given this performance, I think it is best to assume that the community and investors are behind Verge and price will continue to go up until the announcement. The announcement itself will then have a second set of factors that may drive price up or set a new price baseline
