They originally held a vote for Verge and something else but when it was over, discovered they could not delete the poll but could modify it. Don't want someone else's coin name at the top of every page forever so the dev turned it into a joke of sorts...

One of the reason is that verge's circulating supply is very small when compared with "Ripple and Tron " but these are very promising currency. So,one have every hope that Verge will deliver. hi just downloaded the new verge windows wallet, i open it and it had 16connections but sync is stuck at 31551 blocks remaining, i was using the old windows wallet before is there an addnode or somethig but i have connections

I see a lot of similarities with ripple right here. More and more shops, vendors consider XVG as method of payment but price still tanks, the same thing was happening to ripple even american express did not have effect on the price. Then some shitty rumors about adding xrp to Coinbase appeared and we had this ripple effect. Even the price range the same 25% of ATH approximatelly
