you cant, its an issue with the wallet. My wallet got corrupted and Ive been trying to fix it and resync for the last day. Still only 2% done becuaes of the constant 0-1 connection.. this is ridiculous. And yes, I have added all the known nodes.

Try to add nodes to the wallet from page 1 or using another wallet.

update.. ok, now 1 connection, then goes to 0 again. How is there only 1 connection at most...

So one thing that screwed me up was I downloaded the wrong blockchain. Make sure you download 3.0 if you are using Verge-QT 3.0. I had to replace it with the real deal one and let it resync up and it took at least 24 hours before I was able to solo mine on the wallet. Still waiting to find a block only been about a day though. Although thanks to whoever posted unimining.com in here I now have some XVG from mining that pool last night. Anyways the key with this wallet is patience. It takes a long time to sync the wallet and blockchain even when you download it. When I close the wallet down it takes 15 minutes for it to Load the Block Index every time so I just keep it mining open all day.
