i bought some xvg, if i check the transaction everything went well and should be in my wallet. But when i open my wallet the balance is 0 and the wallet is in sync...

please be more specific, which wallet? is the same address you sent to, showing up in the wallet?

installed the wallet on OSX and W8.. but it stays on 0
Imi assuming the latest wallet.
Look for the addnode list. add it to your conf file.
yours might be outa date. (mine had a bad ip and it did similar last year)

Now that the tor android wallet has been released, do you guys recommend that I move my coins to it from the old android wallet?
And if I should do that, is it safe to import my seed to tor wallet or is it safer to create a new seed with tor wallet and send the coins instead?
