ICO? Not even once.
i have alot of things in the works, probably about 10 things all together, from android wallets coming back, to i2p and tor versions of the android wallet. also, our i2p network is going to be alot larger now.

Not to sound rude or impatient but I believe there are some basic things that are more important. Namely a wallet with coin control and a proper block explorer with addres search and rich list.

I know it's not much but I just sent 1kk XVG to the donation address in the hopes of getting those two basic features. And for just in general for continously improving this coin.

we had a block explorer in the last wallet, and im pretty sure this one now has one as well, no?

i can add coin control, it was in it before but i removed it when we went to multi algo.. i can add it back no problem

The in-wallet block explorer only allows block and transactions searches. No address searches (afaik) nor rich lists. Both of which are pretty basic features I believe (and in the past were required by all exchanges).

Also, sending more then a few hundred blocks in one transaction is a pain; you have got to just keep guessing and decreasing the amount and waiting for the wallet to decide if it is below the maximum transaction size - which isn't fast. Sometimes that's around 1 million coins, sometimes that's around 400kk. With CC I could at least slowly organize millions of coins into one address.

yeah very true. we have a ton of online block explorers that are pretty in depth though, like this one: http://yiimp.ccminer.org/explorer/XVG

and vergecurrency.info (temporarily down, will be back up tmrw)

i will put coin control back into the next lineup of qt wallets though.

I wouldn't call yiimp's block explorer in depth. You can't even search for addresses (or at least I haven't figured out how), let alone see stuff like rich list, distribution stats, node lists, etc.

Also, ton is a bit of an overstatement as I suggested to get a block explorer months ago and in the OP there's still 1/3 links working the one being yiimp.

Coin Control?   Meaning you can let me control all the coin!, wohoo!  i want that app! Wink

haha well played! nah coin control is a setting within wallets that allows you to control all inputs of the coins you receive, so say you received 5000 coins, but it was in 1 coin transactions, you might not be able to send the 5000 coins because there are so many inputs, but with coin control, you can select the inputs you want to send and control how large the transaction you are sending is. its a nice feature, and ill definitely bring it back =]

Does Verge wallet run on Windows 10? I have installed on Win 10 64-bit but no luck, it starts, see logo, loading block index for 1 hour now..

try downloading the chain from the cryptochainer link that i posted a couple posts up, should run great. i haven't had any problems with it on win10

I did that but it doesn't work for me:

on linux it crashes : error loading blockindex.dat

on windows: wallet starts, after 1 hour loading blockindex.. it is now rescanning .. let wait on that

https://gyazo.com/c0376a62f26b3a2d4921caf23460666b

keep me posted

I just had to patient  Grin syncing on windows machine now (catching up from downloaded cryptochainer files)  Grin

https://gyazo.com/fc1fcab4baf20c19a6f842629498240b

Linux isn't working anymore because played around with berkeley versions (it's not 4.8 anymore)

i still use 4.8 because ive heard various reports about 5.x having too many issues with large wallets (like pools/exchanges/etc)

isnt yobit an exchange?

if they are, THEY control the funds.   (my memory isnt that good, but im thinking i heard nothing good about yobit)  but again, i dont remember for sure, one way or the other.  Contact them about releasing your coins.
