There will be still time for this currency, then it will be expensive to buy it, I believe that until the end of the spring the Doge will cost about 10 cents. They doesn't died, just waiting for the opportunity to make a good x Cool

Doge died? Where did hear one. I don't remember any news or anything official happening in their community. Desist from spreading FUD. Doge community have been very active and lively since the beginning and still are. I still believe that Doge coin still have a role to play in the future.

YEAR OF THE DOG ... and DOGE died !
... Sonmething Sad !  Smiley
The death of Doge was probably predicted no less than bitcoin, and it becomes only more popular, especially in the gambling industry, charity and other areas. It is well suited for beginners, as an acquaintance with cryptocurrency and is loved in Asia, where it is very popular. By the way, by the end of this year developers enthusiasts promise to make fork Doge.

LOL Doge has not died. Please, you can give me some proof to proves dogecoin has died. If you will be saying there is no further development in the dogecoin and that's just the matter of time until new cross bridge blockchain doge ethereum to be implemented. I can give you some proof for that. Doge will become another great platform in the future.
Vitalik could be behind of the dogecoin too if that was connected to the ethereum blockchain.

I agree with your comment, Dogecoin can not be dead, just tired and in a state of rest. Whatever it is, it is a good advantage to be able to go on a regular basis at constant intervals and be valued as long term. I do not know if it will happen this year, but I think Ripple is a great possibility. I do not want to go through without telling everyone that it is a coin that should have some amount.

Doge! One of my favorites.

It will never die.  There was a long stretch where doge was literally worth one satoshi and people still used it.
One satoshi lol, it literally couldn't get any cheaper.

It never died because of the small hardcore community surrounding it.
And that's why I love doge so much, it is the epitomy of what crypto really should be.
Open source tech, 100% p2p, and any body can do it.
People nowadays don't understand this because they only look at crypto in terms of money and value.

But the thing is, the true value of crypto lies in it's ability to disrupt centralized systems and allow people to directly interact with each other for finances, services, and tech development.

So doge won't die.
In fact, the only way a coin will ever die is if people don't mine it or operate a node or trade it.

Yes, now everything has fallen very low, most altcoins at historical lows, I hope that soon it will change and the market will recover and grow .

Doge coin was never a good project to invest, from the start it was created for a meme coin which today is being the most shitty coin literally from most shitcoins out there, because of its popularity many of the new investors are getting fooled with this coin especially those people who arent doing their research before investing to these altcoins.

YEAR OF THE DOG ... and DOGE died !

Aligning myself with the vast majority of posters in this thread I'm saying no, DOGE has not died at all. If you mean comrpared to its peak, $0.017 one month ago, well, all cryptos went down a lot since. But compared to all previous years DOGE is more alive than ever. Right now its daily trading volume is around $15 million which means people spend their money for buying this coin. Hence, it's not dead.

We all know that Dogecoins is one of the oldest Altcoins. But the doge community is still overwhelming and transactions prices are cheap with fast transfer. I like dogecoin because its is very cheap to transact, I use it when transfering funds to other exchange

Another people creating FUD ! my goodness, doge died means the coins are worthless or no value now. I checked the coinmarketcap, the value of dogecoin  is .004$ each and its kinda stable since almost all of coins are also experiencing a dip. Anyway i'm not a fan of dogeshitcoin.

I don't think doge has gone already. I think, it's just a transition period for this crypto because an update is on the way but this digital currency that's on the top list of currencies is still doing good since it has a $511,931,624 market capitalization that put this digital currency on the 25th spot.

If you have invested in Dogecoin and have sold it, you may found it at a higher price someday.

Altough made as meme coin and currently without active development, Doge coin is available on all exchanges, on many exchanges even as basemarket for subsatoshi trading. It has very fast and low fee transactions, and is excelent coin for transfering value between exchanges. For same reason is excelent for tipping/donations. But it is not coin for long-term investments.

It seems to me that very few people really think about this, personally it's not interesting to me and I would not buy Dogecoin just knowing that this year is the year of the dog. It seems to me that the interest in the project as a whole depends on the developers' work and not on what year it is now.

I believe not. Many still uses it today due to very small transactions cost and other fees. However, many will not advise investing in it long term.
But please stop spreading news such this one, it clearly has no basis at all.

http://www.londonlovesbusiness.com/business-news/business/ethereum-forecast-to-see-greater-growth-than-bitcoin-in-market-cap-by-december-31/20327.article

Let's see and think. Doge will be the most profitable in 2018.
".... Out of the 12 coins, the panelists predict that Dogecoin (DOGE) will experience the greatest growth by December 31, 2018 (+2,920 per cent). Cardano (ADA) will have the second greatest increase in value by the end of the year (+595 percent), followed by Ripple (XRP) (+541 per cent)."

A dead coin is one which the developers has abandoned and no fan is ready to pick it up.
That's a dead coin.

Before you make submission, why don't you just research a bit to know what's up.

He did not die and lay down and can not rise, and already two years at least. Doge is just a shitcoin that is forgotten and nobody needs.

Yeah it's not dead but I can see it dying, along with other memec/shit coins.
