They're simply selling the bitcoins with exorbitant costs.
There's an ATM close to my hometown situated at a store I purchased bitcoin from their however they cost was high in contrast with the real cost.

In any case, I never consider it an "Appropriation" since they're simply selling it not accepting or utilizing as a Payment technique.
I am as yet burrowing for some store who may acknowledge the bitcoin as installment however I never observe such improvement

It's more like advertising, having a bitcoin atm doesn't mean people use it often because I don't believe that bitcoin atm is as fast and cost-effective as regular ATMs.
It will take a lot of effort to improve Bitcoin technology so that it is used more frequently.

There is no way to disbelieve that this is an unimaginable success.  Although Bitcoin ATMs have been seen in many countries before.  Seeing such a scene awakens a kind of hope in the mind.  Interest in bitcoin mining is growing.  I think we will all have Bitcoin ATMs at street corners at some point.  From here, everyone will use Bitcoin as needed.  And I believe that will happen in the near future.

I hope that in future things are much better and the adoption rate increases in future significantly because this will only push the demand high and with more and more people adopting it better for the community. Also, currently not many are being using in their daily life’s due to lack of acceptance by merchants so even the ATM may not be more as the demand is less.

If there will be more ATM but stores are not allowing people to use bitcoin to transact, which could not be called adoption. As we are just inviting them to buy BTC for our own sake without them benefiting from transactions. Though it is really one of the problems in bitcoin, It is hard for bitcoin to be used in stores as long as the fees are high and confirmation takes a long time. Perhaps, we could think of other means of Bitcoin adoption such as using bitcoin in macro transactions. One example is to sell items with huge value (Real Estate, Cars, Jewelries, etc) using bitcoin.

Do you think that the adoption is really happening? I've seen this picture, a convenience store literally selling bitcoin through an ATM, I know it isn't new at all but this proves the actuality of innovation, something that we are dreaming of since we knew bitcoin. Hail the King! I still haven't tried it yet, I'm still wondering how complex it is.
As we go further, the number of Bitcoin machine is gradually increasing, and here is an interesting fact: According to a Norwegian financial company, the number of Bitcoin atm has surged 87% in the past year. Right now the United States has the leading number of Bitcoin ATM across the world, with more than 7,800 BTMs. Unfortunately, I haven't tried or seen any BTMS right now. Hoping I could use it soon.

This is a welcome development to all bitcoin users because many investors find it difficult in my country to transact with their ATM card but not available in my area. Thank God that is happening in some country where you can withdraw and pay with your bitcoin ATM card.
Indeed this is a welcome  development  to the countries that allow bitcoin ATM.
I think my country will be the next to join the moving train by allowing Bitcoin ATM machine everywhere in the country for those who have bitcoin ATM card to perform their transaction.
I can't wait to see bitcoin ATM machine in my country. My country will not play with such  development,I think they will be the next to allow it in our country.

Where is this bitcoin ATM located?

Elon Musk opened the first store on Mars and set up a crypto ATM🚀

Your post is a classic example of shit posting, without reading anything at all except the first post. How many times has it been mentioned where it is, and you are asking the same question again...

Yes, its really happening in any parts of the world now. We cant definitely prevent the widespread and bolder adoption of people to Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. In so many ways, Bitcoin is really a big help and offers great privilige to us that keeps believing and trusting it.

Wrong. Adoption is not Bitcoin ATMs, adoption is "Bitcoin accepted here" signs. True adoption is never touching fiat. You get paid with bitcoin, you pay with bitcoin. No exchanging, no extra fees.

An ATM is but a transitional inconvenience, like an exchange but with higher fees. You should rather push for the merchant to directly receive bitcoin instead of putting an ATM. Second best is having a payment processor, such as those using the software btcpay, etc; so that it at least "looks" transparent to the business. You pay bitcoin, they get fiat. This also sucks, only a bit less.

The number of ATMs do not represent Bitcoin adoption, it is the number of business accepting bitcoin that do.

there is more than 500 bitcoin atm under rockitcoin network in USA.
https://coinatmradar.com/operator/170/rockitcoin-bitcoin-atm-operator/

however, I read bad reviews about this operator.
https://jasonpearce.com/2017/09/02/rockitcoin-atm-rates-will-cheat-you/
https://cryptos.com/rockitcoin-launches-new-atms-in-americas-heartland/

and it seems like complicated to use a bitcoin atm by reading the review.

~oops forgot to snip~

There's just potential adoption I see whenever I heard or read news about new crypto ATMs being established. It's just that my thoughts are circling if people would even think of stopping by an ATM and think of "wow I would now want to buy a Bitcoin".
I just think that a lot of people even heard Bitcoin through the internet and from that they also buy it from the internet as well.

It's a good idea when a lot of people don't really understand what Bitcoin is with so many ATM machines, people keep asking what Bitcoin is and it will make big adoption in the future.

First things first, from which country was this taken? Cause if it was in the US side, more ATM's over there isn't really that needed if we consider adoption due to that place having the majority of the available atms already. If it was in the Asia side, then that's good news indeed...

Isn't it more than obvious that this is an English-speaking area - it's the USA or Canada, you just need to look at the image from the OP to understand that this is not Asia. Even though most of the existing crypto ATMs are in these countries, that doesn't mean that there are enough of them, because if their number is constantly increasing, it means that there is demand - and it should also be taken into account that the US is a large territory with almost 330 million inhabitants.

It is obvious that in some other countries there is no demand for this type of ATM, or the regulations are simply such that they prevent anyone who would like to engage in such activities.

If it was in the Asia side, then that's good news indeed, though tbh, it is much more efficient, cheaper and possibly more secure to buy coins from an exchange. Some ATM's out there are used for money laundering purposes after all, and no matter how small, a chance is still a chance, unless the company behind the ATM is a legit one.

Still, it does spread news of it to those not in the know. People would be quite curious seeing an ATM being used not for normal fiat, but rather for crypto after all. They may not use it, but at the very least, they would learn of the term Bitcoin and possibly search it up, adding to the population to the people that at least are not ignorant of what crypto is.

A Bitcoin ATM in a store adds value to the business and invites its customers to use its ATMs. The massive adoption would come through the smartphone and applications to pay with Bitcoin as well as debit cards recharged with Bitcoin. Each user would use the best means to satisfy their needs when buying and selling Bitcoin.
Lol you know that fewer from around the world knows or use bitcoin so how it comes that it adds value and invites costumer ?
there are only few of us who will be happy if there is an ATM of bitcoin installed near us.

and also there are other option in my place in which we ca easily buy Bitcoin without many time to spend.

Hope we will spread the knowledge about Bitcoin and then next is the ATM machines .

What country it is?, There is some source?.
I hope my country already adopt this kind of changes because most of the time there is a lot of centralized wallet and exchange we have well for sure its centralized bitcoin atm at least, Still, Im hoping they will use this but right now most of the people on my country doesn't really recognize the use of the bitcoin atm. Also I'm curious how do they withdraw their funds? there is a specific card? code? or they type their bitcoin address manually?. However this is a good adaptation towards to the future of the cryptocurrency and bitcoin.

It is happening in your city, but it will need more time to see the adoption process will increase in your city. Perhaps, people will curious about that bitcoin ATM machine, and they will ask the local store owner what that is. But remember, we are still at the pandemic, and people tend to save their money to buy their daily needs than to try with the new things. Perhaps, if that is a new job, they will try it. But for trying to buy bitcoin, I am not sure, but it could attract some people who have a big curiosity about the new thing.

At least, you have one bitcoin ATM machine in your city, so you can withdraw or buy bitcoin from that machine. But I wonder how much the fee for using that machine. I hope that the fee is not too high.

I prefer to hear news like this, about the wider adoption of bitcoin and actually applied in the real world. Bitcoin ATM machines have indeed been old news and have been widely reviewed. But when you find a Bitcoin ATM machine in the area where you live, it becomes extraordinary.

Buying non-KYC Bitcoin at a Bitcoin ATM machine is an easy way for everyone. I also want to try to buy in a bitcoin machine, but in the area where I live there are still you and I don't think there will ever be.

This is good news, it will also make other people think about what is bitcoin or cryptocurrency because of the crypto ATM that they can see physically. Imagine a person who is walking around and then he sees this kind of ATM, then he might think what is cryptocurrency and for him to know about it he may use google and search about it, as we can see there is much information about cryptocurrency that we can see upon searching and once a person who doesn't things about it at all could be curious about it and try some other things that may help him to understand it more.

This innovation shows how successful bitcoin is and maybe it feels so great using it. I am excited to have it in our own country.
