Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
This place is on the famous "Walking Street" of Angeles City, Philippines, which is basically a giant red light district.

No, I didn't do any "research" to find out how to "make it rain Satoshis", but I probably should have!

Cheesy

If someone sends a donation to my profile address I'll write a new post documenting the experience of how it worked.
I have been around olongapo and angeles city  That year because of some clients from Interior company and i need to go there constantly for several years and i also do some Night parties but never encountered this club or some clubs that accept bitcoin that time, because if does?for sure i will be willing to spare some of my Bitcoins for experiences.

This will be something Great for Philippines opening their clubs for crypto enthusiasts .

i will be moving in same place next month (after the lockdowns) si i may check this if still existing upto this point.

Bitcoin becomes more and more popular. More people use bitcoin for payment for different goods, that is why more shops start to accept Bitcoin. No wonder that stip clubs accept Bitcoin too.
Bitcoin is a crytocurrency that is basically the same as fiat currencies. Both can be traded, both can be accepted as a means of payment. Its just that bitcoin is still not fully accepted in the wider community because of regulation. As an investment asset there may not be a problem, but it cant be used as a legal payment instrument in some countries.

Increased adoption of bitcoin is a form of success of this crypto currency as a new payment instrument that is easy to use anywhere, anytime when the wallet is connected to the internet. You dont need to carry cash as long as you can make sure that the place accept payment with bitcoin. But for this, you also need to be careful with your own wallet and security. Maybe you dont need to show that you have bitcoin in your cellphone wallet if you dont want to be robbed.

Very well I think it doesn't really matter what kind of businesses accepting bitcoin like this strip club maybe some users would say that having this payment method could somehow affect the image of bitcoin to some other people. But for it is a good idea to accept bitcoin in any kind of place so that a lot of places, people or even countries would continue to adopt the bitcoin technology. A lot of people already have a smartphone or even internet connection so somehow it might not be difficult for some people to adopt in this kind of technology eventually a lot of users is going to accept it.

Well, people are not really shocked about bitcoin being accepted in a stripclub, we are shocked at this since we did not know they did. I am from the Philippines but a bit too far from this place, still, even though 3 years had passed, I wanted to see that for myself though I think that is gone now but there might be some other clubs that let you accept bitcoin.

Maybe the OP can check out other clubs there too since they've might follow how this clubs accept bitcoin.

I only experienced on going to strip clubs once and never came back since im already a family guy now and theres no time to go into these kind of place  Grin

Its actually a good thing for bitcoin users that do regularly go into these kind of establishments yet they can make use of their coins without the needing of bringing
of their wallet with cash.

This thread is old but still worth to discuss on.

To be honest, I never thought bitcoin was used like this in the past since bitcoin and crypto currencies are not that popular here to start with. I hope people and platforms continue to accept bitcoin, the same as this strip club to also promote it. Though I am still wondering how to make it rain Satoshis

Wish for the rain? Then deal with the mud too.
Im pretty curious why and how, I mean it would ruin the Economic stability so why does the Philippine government allows it ?
And how are they using it, does some other services offers payment through Bitcoin also ? because if they convert it to cash then that would actually be pretty bad for Bitcoin.

It ain't too big to ruined the whole economic stability of the Philippines  Tongue. Beside people who goes there rarely pays through bitcoin, I guess, as much as people into this side of industry here in Philippines are also rare.

One more thing, I would rather choose to pay in fiat considering the additional fee mentioned by OP. Dunno but it is kind of pain in the ass to pay big sum of btc just to have that kind of temporary fun, and yet uncertain if I'll be satisfied with the service. You know... I have to hold it for a while, and spend it with a better purpose  Grin.

There are many people haunted by the tangible goods they bought with BTC back in the day when prices were lower, imagine how you'd feel if you looked back at blowing future thousands on paying some stumpy, sturdy lass from the provinces to wiggle her bum at you in a deeply bored and repelled manner.

I would genuinely prefer to send the money to a burn address. At least you're making an infinitesimal contribution to scarcity.

It takes a few people who are willing to risk spending bitcoin that becomes more valuable to encourage other people to do the same.

And then a service pops up that suddenly lets you pay for hotels or food delivery in a lot of locations using bitcoin, enabling bitcoin's supply and demand to move around which contributes to raising its price to what the HODLers were holding their bitcoin for.

Many countries around the world still approve of Bitcoin. Bitcoin as a payment system is a popular name in the online world. Its popularity is spreading day by day even offline. As the credibility of bitcoin increases, it will be used more as offline payment

Thread years ago and this is the time where the markets are mooning. If someone paid BTC to them then the owner must have earned after dumping right in the first months of 2018.

The strip club might not be open these days anymore due to Covid19 situation most businesses are affected strip clubs must be the first that local governments are prevented from opening.

They could shave a QR code in their pubic hair.

I would favour sticking one of these up their arseholes

With the agreement that they keep it up there for the rest of the night. Watching them attempting to dance would be almost worth the price of giving my future away for a derisory, fleeting thrill.

Buying your flight tickets with Bitcoin to eventually get laid with Bitcoin. Lets hope that this becomes a common thing everywhere in the world. It´s just hard to put a digital currency in a strippers underwear....
They might have their QR codes in their panties, I never heard of this kind of place though, maybe this is deemed illegal by authorities because they are trying to do business and avoid taxes.

They could shave a QR code in their pubic hair. You are absolutely right quesitoning that move though. We could joke around it but eventually it needs to be legal, or at least not illegal and the girls should get their money in a correct manner. Their job is hard enough, so hopefully their payment is oK

Glad to see more and more places supporting crypto. And for a tourist centric areas like south east, bitcoin can act as a plus point for tourist who don't want to carry cash or want's their expenditure getting reflected on their bank account. They would also boost the economy and number of visitors. If I were to chose between an option of strip clubs, it would be this one as I don't know about how things goes in there but am comfortable with bitcoin.

I don't know a thing about this and honestly, I am shocked.
Me too hahaha I never imagine that bitcoin would reach that deep lol. I guess the owner is definitely into bitcoin, that's a 100%

I am from the same country and I think it is time to visit Angeles City, well, after this pandemic that is, to be safe. Not for the purpose of pleasuring myself but to find out if people are really using Bitcoin in that place. I think they are using coins.ph in this club since it is one of the most popular here in the country. I guess I might even see the OP how he "make it rain Satoshis".  Grin
I wish I could visit a club that accepts bitcoin too, I can't help to imagine myself scanning their titties to give them $5 lol. Now strippers can't hide their total earnings, the owner could just check their app history, that's one down for using this from a stripper POV. Now no strippers would sleep next to you, coz they can't steal a cash from you the next morning  Grin

but this, I think it is only applicable for the products that they are selling unless strippers want a QR code tattoo lmao

I am more surprised that this is posted 3 years ago. Even though I read this, I don't think  I will be able to go there since I am still at my off-campus at that time and I don't have that much to tip ladies there to do me some lapdances.

Anyway, as the OP said, they are not accepting bitcoin now and I am not that surprised since right now, only a few people know what bitcoin and crypto currencies, how much more 3 years ago.

Get yourself down there, nutildah. What are Filipino girls like, are they hot? I’ve never been but Macau is on my bucket list. I love casinos & Macau looks amazing.
Don't expect much about the girls there (not that I'm saying they are not hot), but since it's just a small strip club and ain't luxurious, don't expect girls to be as hot as a model. But overall, Filipinas can be hot, it depends on your taste.

I don't know a thing about this and honestly, I am shocked.

I think they don't accept bitcoin anymore since OP posted this last 2017 because I feel that crypto payment offers would only last if it is being used by a lot of customers. But since it's rare for a customer that would pay bitcoin just to have fun in a strip club, maybe they already disregarded this offer. Well, I also have no idea about this but I tried searching for this place and it's kinda hard to find an answer if they are still accepting bitcoin or not.

Campaign Management?"Hhampuz" is the Man
That's surprising since in my country a common man don't even know what's bitcoin and how to use it. All they will say "Oh yeah, bitcoin I have heard this term somewhere in the news, but I don't know what it is for". Lolz.
Not because there are Club that accept Bitcoin meaning the whole country already know about bitcoin,Because i believe that Place mentioned by OP is mostly a landing place of Tourist int he philippines so i think that the main objective of the Owner accepting Bitcoin is to lure those tourist that may have Bitcoin in their possession and not the Locals.

So we are literally in primordial stage of bitcoin and here we are, you guys throwing away bitcoins on a stripper in a night club. That's funny, how we see the world is at different pace of accepting the bitcoins.

I believe the club owner must be some bitcoin freak that's why he put it as payment method. And surely the strippers may not even have any idea what's bitcoin is.
I will never use my Bitcoin just to pay strippers lol,i rather tip them with paper money because how can we put Bitcoin on their panties hehehe

I think you need to be a very strange guy to pay with bitcoin in this kind of club. In essence, you will announce "I have a Bitcoin wallet with me."
how is it strange? you don't have to announce that you have a bitcoin wallet you could just ask the teller or any staff if they accept bitcoin and the transaction can begin.

I heard a lot of news when a person who revealed that he has bitcoins was subsequently kidnapped by bandits, tortured and demanded to give private keys.
Club or stripper staff or one of them may well be in collusion with anyone. It all depends on the reputation of the strip club.

I'm not saying that in every strip club you can expect something like this, but in the little known it may well be.

what's the difference between the risk of having cash and bitcoin? and why would a "criminal element" would only target you just because you have bitcoin?

If you pay with bitcoin, then you have access to the place where they are. To steal them from you, it will be enough to force you to transfer them.
While with a credit card there will be much more problems, and you may not have much cash. Bitcoins can be stolen completely and completely without leaving traces.
