How about ticker images for bitstamp?
Like here:
http://btcticker.appspot.com
Unfortunately that project is abandoned.

Also very interested in 24h average images.

Thanks Bernard. I will take a look at that.

As for the current site, I've switched over from mtgox's socketio server to pure websockets, which seems to work a whole lot better.

Very simple ticker, not bad. Don't see why its any more useful than the 100 others already out there...

Yeah that's a fair point. I was impressed with the other tickers out there and was interested in how they worked. It's more of a hobby site where I can work on my jquery skills  Smiley

I've updated the site now so that it will periodically poll for the latest news.

good job man. nice work. +1 for you

oh and love the haters there hate is hurting them not you.

warning tangent: humans are like crabs in a crab net. how? well at the bottom of a dock on the ocean floor all the crabs see a band new fish head and think "free food" or "easy picking" or "get rich quick" (crabs pay with fish heads) but when the net is slowly being pulled up and they are in eminent danger of getting caught, all they would have to do is side walk there way out of the net. but when you pull up the net its full of crabs?? why? why wouldn't they just walk out of the net? its because just as soon as one of them is making it out of the horrible trap the other crabs grab onto them and pull them back down.  and if they try then they will get pulled back into the net. sooooo like humans when one of us try some thing new and succeed all the haters that are still in the net try to bring you back down to there level of misery.  so go ahead and let them try but the truth is every time you get some one being a jerk and hating on what you have made its realy just them saying hey you are now better than me so i better make fun of or tear you down to my level that way i feel better about the shit situation i am in in my life right now.

Bitstamp has been added......

Orders do not update in the same way as mtgox unfortunately. I see no way to timestamp the depth changes in the same way as it is possible with with mtgox's socketio feed. Bitstamp appear to have a depth feed via socketio however I have been unable to get this to work. This is more likely an error on my part.

I'd be interested if anyone has got this to work or knows of a way to poll for depth changes via the api and attach a timestamp to each change.

I've made a few performance improvements over the past few days, the order changes should now be much more fluid. You should now find that if you want to view it on your iphone, you can  Smiley

EUR trades/order have been added after reworking some of the code, should be able to add the other currency pairs at some point.

Can you add the last sale price to change the title. Sometimes I like to keep a eye on it when not on the same tab.

I've sorted this. Just do a CTRL + r and it should load up the new version. Thanks for having a look at the site!

Thank you! It looks great!

nice work...   Another source for the order book is nice... lately clark moody's crashes with every BTC dump (lol not intended).

Though I personally prefer the side-by-side orderbook

It's always an option to create another page for that..... the data is all there.
