How I can confirm I am the one finding the block when using this pool? I am using cgminer. Thanks!

Short answer.

In CGMiner, check your "Best Share:", if it's higher then current difficulty (DIFF: 51.1G at the moment), you probably got a valid block solve. (Might be also Stale or Orphaned meaning not valid)

There is no need to do that con and kano are the most reputable members of the community. You will be absolutely safe.

Answering your question - read cgminer read me and learn how to use cgminer api -that does not survive to restarts of cgminer
the simplest what you can do is to check your BTC balance. And you will know that you are the one Who found a block.

Is there a way to set difficulty directly on this pool?

ty

If you're using cgminer you can use the --suggest-diff argument.

[2015-07-11 07:25:24] Solved and confirmed block 364822

This also confirms that 3* multisig addresses work fine Smiley

Is that the first multisig address to solve a solo block here?  Congrats!

if it was west/nicehash account:
from their page:
"Do NOT mine into this address directly! Mining payments to this address will be ignored and considered as donations! Also, do NOT use this wallet Bitcoin address for pool username when configuring your miner for mining on our stratum servers. Use your own personal or cloud Bitcoin wallets for mining. This is a deposit address only for buying hashing power. Thank you for understanding."

We have this in place so that our own miners don't mine into these deposit addresses. When they were doing this, we got extreme quantity of dust, which was hitting performance all over the place, so we decided to prevent this.

This being said; we do not prevent mining from other places to this account which means you can mine from here using our deposit address.

yea i have west/nice deposite address with 3J in first address..
i think its risky when use it for solo mining
Provided the wallet provider allows generated coins in your address, then solo ckpool supports mining to any valid bitcoin address. The warning in the previous message was that westhash said you could NOT mine to that address.

Not sure what that's got to do with this pool or that block solve... Is that a WH deposit address?

That was you who hit the block right before the pool went down?  Congrats!!!!

LOL yeah. I was going to shut the rentals and my miner down until it came back too, but was playing with the little ones and forgot.

Is there a way to see which machine hit it? I am using a bunch of my own miners to solo mine also, as well as rented hash.

Glad I did.  Grin

I feel like I hit the lotto. LOLOLOL

Wow, good timing.  Congrats!

Lesson learned, don't shut down miners early.  Shocked

almost $7300  not bad.

@ -ck    your coding on cgminer is nice..  I left the 1 usb stick mining  it stopped at 8:00 pm my time and when your restarted it picked back up.

I only use your pool on the cgminer.

On my  pair of sidehack usb sticks I run balanced with mmpool  your cgminer shifted to all mmpool then popped back to 50-50 just as it should.

I am using your 4.9.2 builds with these sticks.

They meshed in and out of your shutdown perfectly.

So what kind of upgrade did you do?  Hardware?  Software? Both?
VPS was upgraded to a KVM instance, for what it's worth Smiley Ckpool is unchanged for quite a while now, though I'm constantly updating and tweaking bitcoind - but that happens seamlessly without miners noticing anything.
