When I look at the daily BFL machine paired with Bfgminer, and look at the numbers of the Diff that jumps randomly, with the numbers that the MMR rented machine can't see, but see the addresses that other people hit, it's really exciting Excitement, other than that, the endless once-in-a-lifetime chance

If bestever will retain the best value, then when each miner pulls from a small computing power to a large computing power, and hits the bestshare of the block to return to 0 and restarts,
Then everyone will draw lots from the best interval, or return all to 0, I don’t quite understand the meaning and definition of the so-called best number

 Huh
It's just a number, and totally meaningless apart from for your own interest, and has no effect on your chance of finding a subsequent block whatsoever.

I was reading about the NiceHash team mining.  It seems like they have copied your business model, Willi  Cheesy.  However, i would warn anyone who wants to try it...  You can purchase into the team mining without having passed "KYC Tier 2".  But to claim your winnings if your team happens to find a block, you have to complete their "KYC tier 2" process.  I am not sure what all that entails.  To create a nicehash account in the first place, there was some amount of providing information.  This goes above and beyond that.  For this reason I think i prefer the old way of renting their hashpower but mining to a solopool on my own, not going through NiceHash's team mining, which mines to NiceHash's pool.

yes that stinks. I have reported about this in this thread under point 2 Nicehash.

Nice, a big company is learning from me, but they make money with fees and for me it is only my hobby and hope to find more blocks with other bitcoiner from here  Grin

But nice to see and yes a payout on a Blockfund on nicehash works only with KYC

On NiceHash, the shared package EasyMining order 8cf9ca6d found 2 blocks, 783540 and 783527, luckily I was in..  Smiley
Can you write a little more about that. How maybe you were involved, how much you invested, how much hashpower was bought, how long the term was and how much you had to win.
Hello Willi,
my participation was 0.0010 BTC, for 4 hours of race representing 10 shares on 1059 in total of the race, the reward obtained for my participation is 0.12459340 BTC
One of the participants, probably via a bot, obtained 900 shares, the gain is accordingly for him with two blocks found
I tested the packages very recently on Nicehash and Teammining is also very recent there, since March 20 or so I think, I was in the first race that got a block with the same stake of 0.0010 BTC and a payout of about 0.06 BTC

Here are our next Blockparty Run 33

you can take a seat here in that topic or in our german / englisch mixed main topic -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/groupbuy-solo-mining-blockparty-2023-number-33-5447222

############################

Hello all,

let's go to the next group buy from Hashingpower.

As already requested by some forum users I put a new group buy for solo mining. Start at the earliest after the next diff reduction.

~15-18 users for each 0.005 BTC, 0.01 BTC or more BTC can participate. A higher number is not useful, otherwise a possible profit will be much too small.
If smaller amounts than the minimum amount are allowed in a single case, then the calculation of the rewards will be based on the amount of BTC deposited.
Hashingpower is rented on Nicehash and shot on the solo pool.
The status of the group run can be observed during the runtime via the Live View link.
Here you can see what our hashingpower is and what our highest share / bestshare is.

If a block is found, the reward will be paid out to the participants.

Lets go and let us find a block

In the past we had found 10 blocks --> 196 BTC!
Block list: 385022, 394940, 394946, 395087, 396941, 399709, 401934, 706369, 712217, 780525

Those who want to participate send their BTC to the following address bc1qlpd45688hce39lusur8sdnuzy3z2dx4uvrgpkt and post their participation with the following template:

Please send your coins only if there is still a place available.

To make it a little easier in the new year, I've decided to do the reservations differently.
In the new year there are reservations possible for people who pay for 2, 5, 10, ... block party runs in front.
If the quota is exhausted, the place will be automatically free and someone else can use the place.

Specifically, we start with the Blockparty Run 2022-1 and if someone sends 20x 0.01 BTC at the first time, he is practically permanent until the Blockparty Run 20.
If someone joins the Blockparty Run 2022-7 and sends 10x 0.01 BTC, he will be a member until Blockparty Run 17.
This simplifies the organization and places are not permanently taken by the same people, unless someone sends 50x 0.01 BTC for the 50 planned Runs.

If we should not create at the end 2023 the Runs, for which someone already paid, the last Run in 2023 all payments are used around longer to run.

As long as open slots are available the coins can be sent at any time without an OK from me

Of course there is no guarantee that we will find a block, but it would be mega if we repeat the runs until we find one!
Should something happen like: Nicehash account hacked, deposit address in forum post hacked, BTC sent to a wrong address, etc. no compensation for the loss will be provided. Everyone takes this risk or does not participate in the block party if they do not agree with it. However, I assure that everything will be done with the highest care as before.

what was your hash rate when you hit that block?
and what is POS?
and what was your hash rate you recently mined with?

I'm just curious about things. I'm also lottery miner with some solar electricity but it does not fully cover my needs at house. I hesitate all the time if I should continue... Taking it realistic, I shouldn't. Wink

If you go all the way back on this thread to page #9 you can see the day I almost got a block. I kept 1x S9 pointed at the pool ever since with the rest of my gear on a pool. The machine I kept pointed here was the one that would've found that block since it was a lucky machine but no dice.

It's a lotto you have the same chance of finding a block as anyone but just like the mega millions the more tickets you buy (hash power) the more of a chance you have of winning, like the guy that found 2 blocks the other day that was insane BTW super cool to see.

Ahh, thanks for recalling this. Yes, I knew there was such issue, but didn't recognize this from your name. That really was bad luck although being so lucky with share.

I'm not sure if I would continue mining after so high share. But at least you could try because of free electricity.
My experience so far is that my best share corresponds to the number of shares submitted. I'm at about 1,1% diff and my best share is slightly about 1/100 diff.

Thinking more and more often to stop lottery mining... On the other hand regular lotteries are not giving that good "expected value" of a lottery ticket.

So when large fund-raising groups and large computing power settle in, under the known specific probability of cracking, the BS after each block is generated will return to 0, will it represent the continuous circle of small computing power to try again?

In the case of repeated shuffling, the small computing power has been changed from 0 to the best value that cannot be seen, and is suppressed by the large computing power.
 Shocked

Looking at nicehash’s Teamining, the gold team package is divided among about 63 people with 1063 shares. People who raise funds in the pool, and small miners who work hard all day alone. Although I read many articles saying that the probability is fair, I am curious about those Seniors who have been around for a long time, is it really fair?
(The luck of hitting the energy cost of a cup of coffee or lunch every day may be really hard to reach)
