Maybe but that faulty address is still trying to authorise. Perhaps you need to restart your miners for the configuration change to take.

Found a minor issue warranting a restart. As per usual no actual downtime and your stats will carry over, but some of you may fail over temporarily though I've gone to great lengths to try and minimise the number of you this will happen to.

Yeah, saw that. The thing is, it's 29 BTC to rent.
The odds say at 2 PH, you'll find a block. Problem is, at 29 BTC, you'd better find at least 2 blocks, or you'll be losing money.

you better off popping 0.1 btc on even days and 0.2 btc on odd days.

and only doing it when the hash rate is cheap.

beta rigs is costly but you stay locked into the contract it is better to use them with a hot coin.

you are welcome. ck runs this pool and I am happy to show people a way to rent to play his pool.

A few things to understand west and nice hash are the same company. if you rent from them like I am doing now you can be bumped by higher renters . I picked 0.0118 as what I want to pay. So if some one pays 0.0120 and buys enough hash I get bumped.

I can wait for the high player to finish or I can bump higher.

When I play ck's pool I wait for higher bidders to finish. I don't bother getting into bidding wars.

Solo pools are all or nothing. They key to renting hash is don't overpay like crazy.

The .055 I spent here is about 30 usd tops not bad for a chance at 6000 bucks. I could go into the math but if you can go close to the current rate for 1th you are not doing badly odds wise. If you pay a lot more then the going rate you are doing badly with the odds.

right now 0.01219 is normal rate for 1th.. I am paying 0.0118 plus a 2% fee or about 0.01204 and I am paying no power cost.

So basically it is a bargain.

Kind of like getting 1020 to 1 on a 3 digit number.

Rather then 1000 to 1

I spent 0.055 btc of my 0.117 btc to buy 20th hash for 6 hours or so. Maybe I take a shot in a day with the 0.062 left

And here is the how to. you can use westhash if you are western hemisphere nicehash if you are the rest of the world.

transfer some money into the account you open I sent 0.117 btc

I have 0.117 btc. I live in the USA so I used nicehash

fill in with ck's pool your btc addy etc

I had only a usb stick running solo here see hash

starts ramping up I am at .75th here

ck's pool see's some of my added hash now

I paid at 0.0118 to be higher then the 0.0116 guy in blue

here i am in on the west hash list

here i am up to 15.7th for about 6.5 hours and on ck's pool
