Welcome to Yobit exchange;)

As I've said in the past, personally, I actually never got scammed by them but this was all the early days long before I started using proper exchanges. I haven't used it in years so can't say much BUT an exchange that runs dice is really shady;) Just be careful and regardless of the exchange, never risk more than what you can lose.

btw there are no bad feedback about this yobit exchange by doing a simple research on google, i don't know why.. maybe you just the one who discovered their secrets wherien like what you've said they're "spamming" on the trade history ..  Well for me in my opinion its either a bug or a cheating..  If its just a bugs then you will see a big difference when they will update their system. If not then stay away on it. That's the only i can suggest..
Yobit is a notorious scam website in this forum and I don't your point that just because the fake trade didn't appear on Google search doesn't mean that they are a reputable website. I don't think that it is a bug because if it is then they should've fixed it the moment that they saw it and how come is it a bug though, how can something be so fake that it looks like a bug to you?

There are already bad feedbacks and bad reputation of this yobit exchange. Obviously, they've been using fake trading volume to attract some users to trade to their exchange.

Here are other feedbacks from those users that experienced how they have been scammed by that exchange.
- Yobit feedback

Since you brought this up, we should be vigilant and be careful on selecting reputable exchange to use.

Believe me I am not surprised a little by seeing this. People who know about yobit I think atleast they will not be surprised.  Because they know how shady the yobit is ! It's normal for them and they are doing it regularly.

The funny this is that I used the exchange previously but just trying to visit the exchange and see I really forget the site domain name and I put .com instead of .net . later I find it by google search. LOL

Edit:  Just notice 240 ETH has brought  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Always and forever, I think.
That's all they've got in order to gain and attract investors that are willing to lose their money. They will be showing fake (huge) trading volume to catch attention but very unfortunate since most traders are already aware of their doings and such kind of awareness will help the entire community of stepping away from Yobit. That is why when hearing about Yobit, people will then think about scams.

Yobit has been known to be a scammer from a long time ago, either from airdrops or from their system,
everyone says that, but for me, yobit is still very normal as an exchange, because the volume on yobit is also quite a bit,
yes even though there are rumors about fake trade history, in my opinion it has not been proven,
the most important thing is not to store your crypto assets there, just only trade and you will be safe.

Damn,I forgot that I have a Yobit account.I haven't logged in for years. Grin
I was messing around with Yobit back in 2016.I had a really small amount of BTC there. My overall experience was good, they didn't scam me,but I would never buy a shitcoin, that is listed on Yobit.
I'm not surprised by their shady tactics.I'm surprised that Yobit is still relatively popular, despite all the negative reviews and their bad reputation.
A warning to all the noobs-Please do NOT deposit big amounts of cryptocurrencies there.

It's not new news, this exchange has a terrible reputation since years ago. Faking volume is probably one of their most famous shady activity. That being said, it's not exclusive to Yobit. A lot of shady exchanges do this too. So, the best thing you can do is avoid them and use reputable exchanges/dex instead.
I don't know why they are still in the business though, by this time they probably should have been down on the ground with a lot of people confirming that they are a scam of a website. @joniboini is right, exchanges do this to attract gullible people to put their money in their site so they can scam them.

OP's observation is correct and I think that cuts across exchanges with low liquidity. I have also observed similar scenario with, at least two exchanges, I use. It's obvious that such exchanges use bots to trigger trades, either cancelling them or completely moving them slightly below one's sell orders or above one's buy orders to prevent one's orders from getting picked. It's frustrating when that happens.

BTW, why will anyone even still trade on Yobit when there are several scam accusations against it littered on the Internet? Kindly keep off it. It used to be a great exchange in the past but not any more.

In my personal opinion, Yobit's trade order book becomes more shady in the recent years and they mainly do wash trading to fake the report volumes to the coin tracking websites to keep their exchange alive but its not actually a very surprising thing since we know Yobit went into lot of unresolved scam accusations and shady projects IEO and fake investment schemes, etc.

Before I'm using this as a liquidity metric to know the actual trading volume per exchange and its comparison but since it's now owned by Binance, it's hard to trust that might could be there a biased, but so far, I don't see.
https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/.
Coinmarketcap gives Yobit a bad score but that exchange is given same bad score by coingecko.

Yobit is ranked at the bottom on coingecko too. Yobit is at 209th rank and the given Trust score from coingecko is 3

The average bid-ask spread is 25%+

As we heard on this exchange platform was that scamming users, weird and fake trading volume, house of scam projects or shit tokens, and many shady activities.  So in the first place, why you are choosing them since we all know their negative activities.

However, I have heard that most of the exchanges now have this problem, they can't show their actual trading volume and probably this is one of their marketing strategies to lure traders and new users to use them as an exchange.

Before I'm using this as a liquidity metric to know the actual trading volume per exchange and its comparison but since it's now owned by Binance, it's hard to trust that might could be there a biased, but so far, I don't see.

Talking about shady volume?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/this-is-too-much-yobit-fake-volume-is-scandaloushere-are-the-proofs-5211086
https://coingeek.com/report-indicates-64-of-crypto-volume-happens-on-shady-exchanges/

This doesnt limit out on yobit alone but also in other exchange as well but nothing beats out the shadiness of this platform
and if you are just new into this market then better get rid and never use that shitty exchange yobit.

Everything that you will read here is negative about yobit since they leave a pretty bad impression in this forum and too many allegations/issues on the internet that haven't been solved. But the trades you indicated are possible if yobit is not mentioned. There are better exchanges right now and as of now, I can't really suggest you using yobit because of the risks especially if you are holding a huge amount of assets.

There’s a lot of bad reviews about Yobit but of course its not the only exchange who fake the trading volume and trading history, maybe its a BOT but still the datas are being manipulated. I have my experience with some other exchange and the worst thing here, the token has a huge trading volume and yet the price remain the same, you’d better deal with the best exchange.

I think ever since I met Yoobit he's always been weird. The last time, when there was a staking program, after that I never went there again. At this time I will not go there again. There was a lot of bad news circulating. Many people say there is a lot of price manipulation there. I don't think you need to transact there. Many crypto exchanges are more open and trustworthy.

If you are trying to trade on Yobit then I would suggest you stop it right now and withdraw everything as soon as possible. It's one of the shittiest exchanges there is and its features and promotions are shittier than what they advertise. I used to trade on Yobit in the previous bull run when it was something but then when the bear run came it didn't have anything to hold on to. I have withdrawn everything from then when I felt that it was not safe. It's not just Yobit but the same with every centralized exchange, if you feel that it's not safe then take it out.
