So far lost over 2k of coins in POS.
all my support tickets are marked as "new" meaning they are not even looking at them

You can check yourselves my address on yobit as it keeps accumulating more coins, all kept hostage by yobit

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
I have decided to reveal my wallet address as extra proof so you can check yourself
My Alex wallet address on yobit (the one where coins are stuck) is aDeTcJLEPLFPAmP9oJ1cvZRaQ1SVCAEkZz

You can check on the blockexplorer (https://prohashing.com/explorer/Alexandrite/) to see POS coins generated. None of these goes to my wallet.
This is why my transaction is stuck: yobit wants to keep the coins for themselves to generate more coins to sell on the exchange.

I didn't want to rush with accusations but now it IS confirmed: I  have checked the blockchain and some coins WERE INDEED TAKEN OUT OF MY ADDRESS on 3 July and SENT to another address. Yobit IS STEALING MY COINS.

Posted on telegram asking (very politely) why they've put the coin's wallet on maintenance, was banned in 1 second!

I will not stop until I get my coins back. In case it's all a misunderstanding, I don't mind to clear yobit's name
What does "wallet maintenance" mean, exactly?  I never quite understood that.  Seems like a nebulous claim any exchange can make in order to delay withdrawals.  It may not be that, but if anyone can explain it to me I'd be grateful.

That's not good if they banned you for asking a question about your problem.  Do you have a screenshot or something to prove that happened?  That's a good piece of evidence that they're scamming you, and it ought to be documented here.

Yes I have screenshots  Angry
So here is my stuck transaction from 11/6:

I have been opening support tickets since 12/6 on a daily basis and haven't got a single reply.
Yesterday I noticed that Yobit put the wallet on maintenance:

However today the wallet is back on but still my transaction is stuck and haven't heard back from support:

I tried to complain yesterday but was banned in 1 second. And someone told me "no solving unless you give yobit btc"

Today I tried to complain again but nobody replied (and nobody banned me) probably the mods were asleep!

All my previous transactions went smoothly but they were for very small amounts. However this time transaction stuck because it's thousands of the coin and yobit makes a lot of coins POS from it

So far my stuck deposit has generated 521 coins and NONE of these are given to me as my wallet is empty:

I hope something is technically wrong and there are no malicious intentions behind this technical problem
However of this is not the case then this is an obvious THEFT case by YOBIT.
If they clear the matter, I will mention this here.

Just noticed that Wallet of the coin has gone to "maintenance" and consequently I am thinking maybe Yobit isn't intentionally holding the coins.
But still I haven't heard from support which is not a very good thing.
Will let you know if it's a proper scam or simply customer support itsn't in the best shape.

After opening this thread I am watching in horror how many similar cases....
Some stories are real horror
They are holding 10 Bitcoins from someone since January (when 1 BTC= 16k USD) and not giving it to him even till now (June 2018, 1 BTC = 6k USD)

i.e that person LOST 160k USD because he trusted yobit and even if they fix it now (which i doubt would happen) he would still lose 100k USD   Roll Eyes

Unfortunately, this is how bad yobit's reputation is on the forum.

If you search up 'yobit scam' on the forum, you'll be rewarded with probably a few thousand threads that all complain about one thing or another that has gone wrong with yobit. That's why we tell people not to use them.

Surprisingly, this person actually got his problems resolved somehow: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/resolved-after-16-days-yobit-withdrawal-possible-theft-by-yobit-4448488, and I think you've already seen that thread. It's a waiting game. I'd consider your funds lost for now, at least. Don't expect too much from them, and just avoid these shady exchanges in the future.

It's not really expected of any exchange to give you PoS profits per se,
That's what I was thinking, and I posted a question about this in another thread that was related to this.

I'm definitely not an expert on crypto, but my understanding is that you have to keep a POS coin in a staking wallet in order to earn the interest.  Isn't that the case?  If that's true, then is it not possible that exchanges like yobit are NOT keeping POS coins for customers in a staking wallet?  I didn't think that if you kept coins like PIVX on an exchange, for example, that you'd be entitled to any interest on it, because it's not necessarily generating any.  I know if I hold PIVX in my Coinomi wallet, I won't be earning anything because it's not a staking wallet.

I'd like to hear responses to the above, and perhaps see how this is related to OP's problem.

I can see my wallet address on the blockchain and POS is being credited to it.
124 coins so far of POS and nothing of them shows in my wallet
It's even possible those scammers even gave me someone's wallet address to deposit at!!
