They've known for having years of wallet maintenance and still, it's not fixed. So, having that payout for any feature they've got for their customers. If it's getting an error, they'll just leave it for a long time and you're lucky to witness it if they actually fix it but most likely, don't expect them to have it fixed so fast. Not just that, they're also known for having the poorest support to their customers and that's why, it's only you that will help you there and not them even if it's their own exchange.

There are vague questions about this platform, the most important of which is what is the host country for it and who granted it work visas? Are they accountable, held accountable, and followed up legally? Do you pay performances as any legal person?

Yobit, its team and their whereabouts are an enigma but they are often associated with Russia. If I have to guess, I'd say they are based on the internet lol as they are scammers who are more interested in hiding rather than complying with the law. This probably adds on people's reluctance to sue them on top of spending loads of time and money.

Quote from: coupable
and we have never heard that anyone was arrested on the grounds of any of the complaints filed against it

There was a news about them being investigated by russian authorities, see: https://cointelegraph.com/news/cryptocurrency-exchange-yobit-investigated-in-russia-on-fraud-claims, and a rumored founder being arrested in russia however there wasn't enough evidence suggesting he was actually the founder. That's it  Undecided

Are they accountable, held accountable, and followed up legally? Do you pay performances as any legal person? What is the party that protects it, and we have never heard that anyone was arrested on the grounds of any of the complaints filed against it. In the past, I thought that the platform belonged to China, until I made sure that China prevents the activity of crypto companies. Is it a Russian platform supported by the Russian authorities as long as it does not defraud Russian citizens? I really hope to find accurate answers to all these questions.

this shit exchange is hiring keyboard warriors to be posting good reviews all over the internet, but even if these shits do that, we all in the oldies know well how cruel these shits are and scammers, I don't know how they are still operating being that they they are owned by someone from Russia if my memory serves, they must be doing a lot of obscure things to get around sanctions, although being scammers these shits have no ethics and honesty

Yes they are being managed by a group of Russian, they have their own forum Cryptotalk where they shill their exchange and because they have their own exchange they can delegate the task of promoting and shilling Yobit on many platforms and social media in exchange for their shit token Yotoken, so if you are a new investor and you stumble Yobit from one of their shills you will fall and you will get scam like what happen to OP who is not aware on the status of Yobit.

Hey,
I did put some of my BTC into the BTC/USDT Liquidity pool at yobit half a year ago and did accumulate 120 USDT in YoFarm Rewards so far.
When I try to claim my Rewards I get the Error message: "Please wait..."
After receiving the Error message a few time I contacted Yobit Support at 11th April 2022.
No answer. One month later I tryed again (10th May 2022). Again no answer.

2022-11-10: The issue is still not fixxed and I decided to remove my Liquidity and withdraw it. Worked fine but my Reward is still pending and support keeps ignoring my messages.

Does anyone have similar experience whith Yobit?

It's sad what you're going through, but I have to say that yobit is a scam exchange that since years still continues to deceive and rob people, they've always been thieves for years, so many people have lost money on this exchange and they've always had a big defect since years: " sometimes they took more than 6 months to answer a message when someone sent them a message to their support " I remember that one day I sent a message to their support complaining about something, they took 6 months to answer me and guess what was the message they sent me after 6 months? " our support team will look into your problem and get in touch.... " it was something like that, man what a shitty company you send a message 6 months later and say that? and until today I never received any more messages from those shits and scammers, don't wait for those damn scammers to solve your problem, the best thing you will do is forget about it and move on and never use that shit exchange again

Honestly, I believe that those latecomers like those who just invested or sign up here two years ago will fall to Yobit because there's not much noise on Yobit now but was wrong even those who have been investing for the last four years can fall because of greediness, I guess Yobit is a story that will never end.
Well, whether you believe or not, crypto exchange reviews or whatever you called them gave yobit a safe to good or even a 5/5 rating review lol

I don't know if you people are familiar with those sites but they are the ones who shows in the first page of google when you search "yobit reviews". Which also the main reason why there are still newbies and new comers still uses this exchange despite of how shitty their service is.

Those reviews do not reflect the real status of Yobit, obviously, these are paid reviews they have their own community a forum they can hire these people to shill for them and they can even pay these review sites to give them good reviews, they are existing because of fake reviews but on independent review site and forums they will have bad reviews, scammers are good at these, paying biased sites who do not value reputation.

Does anyone have similar experience whith Yobit?
ElBiasto, you have been in these streets since 2018, how come you didn't know that keeping your money in an exchange let a lone an exchange like yobit is not a safe practice at all. You are actually even lucky that you got out your funds

The exchange is a big mess, very poor non-responsive support, very high withdrawal fees and endless wallet maintenances (the reason they give for you not to be able to withdraw) for various coins

He may have registered here in 2018 but checking his post history he only started to post on April 14, 2021, 08:31:14 AM, and it's on his local board, I don't know his trading history nothing on his post reflects his experience, and how far he knows about Cryptocurrency and what exchange to trust.

Honestly, I believe that those latecomers like those who just invested or sign up here two years ago will fall to Yobit because there's not much noise on Yobit now but was wrong even those who have been investing for the last four years can fall because of greediness, I guess Yobit is a story that will never end.

Probably an attempt to dull mind of their customer victim. But on a side note, i can't believe they have 172K follower. Although it's likely they buy fake follower since the engagement number (like, reply, etc.) is very low.

Could be old accounts, and if i remember correctly they had all sorts of airdrops and requirements for those. One requirement could have been to follow their twitter account. And as weird as it is they still have very active chat and userbase because there's no kyc, nor there seem to be any kind of regulation.

Also i was weirded out about where they get their funding. They made a campaign in here that was very expensive to them to use their cryptotalk forum. The amount of incompetence in that forum by admins was insane. It was just full of bots that got money from writing. They didn't know how to get rid of them so they banned whole countries that used them. That didn't help so they removed any btc payments from non-russian speakers. And that killed the whole international side of that forum. Also it seemed that they didn't have any plan for their talk token, nor it had any blokchain. They just claimed to have big plans for it. Then nothing happened.

It's funny how it seems YoBit is the last man standing. Even the huge FTX has bowed down already. The brands that are known to be shady like YoBit, HitBTC, and probably some others are still alive and kicking. Despite YoBit, for example, being almost synonymous to scam and doesn't even seem to hide it, the platform hasn't really crumbled. It's amusing to wonder now, are they better managed? Are they earning better?

Yobit packed their scam methods in various new names like YoFarm through which they scammed OP. they manipulate by luring new victims with high-interest rates on staking, whereby devaluation brings down the price and thus makes the investment worthless. everything takes place in a relatively short period after which they start a new cycle.
as far as I know, there aren't too many problems with withdrawing (major) funds from there, but that is not their main method of fraud.
but yes, it's a real miracle how they survive considering that the basis of their business is a Ponzi scheme.

Anyway, OP, don't expect anything from them. While you can continue sending emails or tickets to them, don't hope too much. And stop risking money in these liquidity pools.

Scammers always trying their best to deceive people and it seems that they just continue to operate their exchange then wait for a newbie big fish to come then scam them. And that's what happen to OP maybe the discussion about yobit scamming became low due to some other important reason which many people forget to talk how really awful exchange they are. Since there is another victim this will be another reminder not to trust them because they just continue scamming people and for that we need to be careful.

I don't know how did you discover Yobit they used to have a strong presence here in Bitcointalk five years ago but with so many complaints  and bad feedback written and posted on so many platforms, there's hardly any news about their existence/

I guess you're just a new trader and not good at doing research and just go for an exchange that gives you a good yield on your coins but unfortunately, you've stumbled on a very bad exchange and this is going to be the start of doing extensive research on exchanges or just about anything that involves, trading, staking and storing, this bad experience is worth $120 USDT for you, but for some its even larger amount.

Curious to know how newbies discover it also since in first place they are not doing marketing anymore as I don't see there banners anywhere and if you type the best exchange keyword on google search engine there's no yobit name listed there.

Maybe someone introduce him to this kind of shit and deceive newbies that they can earn by yofarm reward on yobit. Starting up people on crypto need to know that yobit is bad exchange and they should always do their research and never invest there money base on their first impression only look only for quality review or advice coming from experience people especially coming from people here in forum.

You mean you have withdrawn your funds out of Yobit and they let you, you're still lucky they are one notorious scam exchange and should not be trusted, its unlikley that you are goign to get your reward, better forget it, just be thankful that you get your funds out of Yobit and don't ever comeback there or you will regret it.
And next time do research on where to put liquidity, there are a lot of liquidity pool out there that are legit like Pancakeswap or Uniswap, don't be too greedy just because they offer high rewards.

Yobit is one of the early exchanges, I think they started somewhere in 2014. after 8+ years, it is to be expected that they have a large number of followers, especially if we know that they had several campaigns where the following was one of the conditions.
The importance of their Twitter account and how realistic that audience is is best shown by the fact that despite having 170k followers, they only have 15-20 retweets. they seem to be completely irrelevant like 90% of their followers.

They were just a number; same as of some number people had in ftx and/or have in any other exchange. I'm not really sure if you aren't familiar with typical yobit or not; they are using the same approach to make a business and rip off the investors with not even a peanut LOL. This is not the same kinda scheme from them; I can't name them but they have a lot of such scheme. You better stay out of this and any other exchange.

Also, why the heck is this their cover photo..
At first look, I thought you shared Natasha's twitter profile LOL. Yobit is trying to attract the noob; all of their scam scheme targets the noobs as well.

Unfortunately it is not the first problem that emerges from yobit here on the forum, as reported by other users. in general it is a site with "opaque" characteristics and it is better to use it only as an exchange, avoid investments/staking/earnings opportunity etc.
sadly in your case, OP, besides writing to support you can't do much...
