I made a x5 on selfkey at the weekend and looking for other coins to invest in for medium term I think I may have found one but its not on the major exchanges so I need to create a new account with an exchange it has to be yobit or Hitbtc. Hitbtc looks like a nicer site but my main concern is scams and been able to withdraw btc if I make a profit  I have red bad things about yobit in this regard
what are peoples experience with them are they trust worthy and what are their fees like

Thanks all

Experience wise, I would prefer HitBTC over Yobit anytime of the day.

What are withdrawal fees?

The full list of withdrawal fees is available in your Account. Here follows the brief overview on some of our fees for popular currencies.

    BTC: 0.001 BTC
    ETH:0.00958 ETH
    ETC: 0.002 ETC
    USDT: 100 USDT
    STRAT: 0.01 STRAT
    LTC: 0.003 LTC
    DASH: 0.03 DASH
    XMR: 0.09 XMR
    BCN: 0.1 BCN
    ARDR: 1 ARDR
    STEEM: 0.01 STEEM

So fees are very expensive. I haven't had problems withdrawing in HitBTC though, bitcoins, altcoins and other tokens. As for Yobit, I totally forgot about them. LOL. Grin. Last time I checked they also have ridiculous fees.

Haven't tried both but would not use any of this two exchange platform because there are lots of complaints about them, some said they've been scammed and very poor customer service. If I were you, just find an exchange that has a high liquidity while also have the coins you want to buy and better if it is regulated or approved by your government. Personally I use different exchange that can provide my needs since some cryptocurrencies that I want to trade that are not listed in some exchange that I use, there is binance, bittrex, poloniex and a local exchange here that recently released here in my country.

I never used hitbtc. So i dont have any idea about that. But yobit is one of the worst and scam exchange. I advice everyone to away from this exchange. My friend lost huge amount from this exchange. Also you can easily find non listed tokens listed in this exchange only to cheat peoples.

Yobit has a lot of negative reviews. but fees are more appropriately than hitbtc. in addition, hitbtc has hard verification.

I heard a lot of bad reviews Yobit and there is widespread belief that the exchange is deceiving its users. As for HitBTC -  this exchange, which is very popular among European traders, which basically point to forums and thematic resources, positive feedback on trading on the site. I highlight the following advantages of HitBTC: a large selection of assets for trade, reliability and security of the exchange, a comfortable interface, low commission.

snip..
Been using HITBTC for a while. Had no problems since my deposits and withdrawals were small.
We are the same I have been using this exchange site too until this current year, HitBTC is good I think if you didn't have an error in your transaction. Because once you've got an error transaction they did not have the staff to support your ticket issue (IMO).
Because of the delay response, their clients think that is already a scam.
If I were you OP avoid these two exchange site that you've mention I must be preferred with Binance and Bittrex exchange site.

Been using HITBTC for a while. Had no problems since my deposits and withdrawals were small. But heard that they got hacked back in 2014. A lot of coins are listed on HITBTC are legit. ICX was trading before their coin was released. They are legit but if anything happens they have got shitty customer service and there is a good chance  you aren't gonna get back what you lost. I haven't used Yobit but heard that they list coins with out approval from the coin developers and sometimes they say they have support for the coins when they actually don't.

Hitbtc is more popular than yobit and the service for hitbtc is slow but yobit is much slower and I've heard some rumors about Yobit doing some scheme to fake increase the volume then lure the newbies there. Hibtc is rather slow on loading like on my mobile phone it loads slower but my internet was good. Hitbtc is more efficient than yobit. Comparing these two Yobit has more bad feedbacks than hitbtc.

The choice between yobit and hitbtc is like choosing between and devil and the satan. Grin
Just kidding. It`s OK to use them both, but only with small deposits.Deposit a big amount of btc or any other altcoin, and they are GONE.Yobit is the number 1 place for pump&dump altcoins and HitBtc has many bad reviews about their customer support.
I tought hitbtc is a good exchange, there are many new altcoin with good potential in the future.
I was use hitbtc for 1,5 years and its ok till now. And their customer support is good too.

Those exchanges are low volume base market. If you don't like to stay at the slow system so you should choose some good exchange for your trading. But you just want to compare so I could take yobit (just only for compare not like to choose).

I am not sure why are you sticking to these two bullshits only as you have many more options to choose from. But if you really really want to choose from them (unbelievable) then you can go and select HitBTC. As far as I know this site has far more greater reputation as compared to the yobit itself. Plus for the real use yobit sucks at all in its user interface and thus its bad experience over it and also it has got less volume as compared to the HitBTC and more scam chances. Also FYI if you are open to other suggestions then you can go for Huobi, Binance and Gate.

When i do compared both exchangers in overall hassles then i would rather choose up Hitbtc than Yobit but be ready for Bitcoin or any other deposits because they do charge out some fees. Sounds dumb right? but you have to deal with it. I had experienced some issues with hitbtc but the fact i do like is that their support is somehow responsive but it would be matter on days but much way more better compared to yobit which doesnt really answer at all.

If I am comparing those two between Yobit and Hitbtc, I think Hitbtc was a good and better compare to yobit. Because most of the coin in yobit

was Pump and dump only then most of the altcoin there are also shitcoins. Unlike in Hitbtc, when it comes to volume of bitcoin it is more good

than Yobit then the only things that are not good on hitbtc was I think the fee.

Listen to the users cry. It is all true. There are a lot of problems with both of the said exchange.
You might want to look for another option into where you will invest your money or you will be risking it at a higher point.

I would rather pick another token than force myself to buy the one that I like which is only registered in those two sh1tty exchange.
Make up your mind fast and do not let emotions get over you.

Yobit - A supposedly russian exchange that is not registered anywhere so they can say f*** you, we can't process your withdrawal request after a month.
Hitbtc - You can't trade small amount and they might keep asking for a hell lot of documents and even origin of your funds before they process your withdrawal if amount involved is large.

I would suggest you to only use binance which have enough liquidity and you don't have to pass KYC to trade small amount.
I can hardly use them and choose them as a trading floor after the previous negative information. Binance is one of my favorite trading sites. But I like to use and compatible with Huobi's app. Because my work is usually moving. Tracking and updating on mobile is indispensable. After they open the OTC function for intermediate exchange.

Yobit's basically as low as you can get without going to a complete scam exchange. They're constantly doing maintenance (or so they say) on coin wallets, and 'maintenance' can last for months or your coins can be locked on the exchange forever. Neither exchange is great but I would go with Hitbtc all day due to my personal experiences with YoBit and what I've read on the forums throughout the years. YoBit hasn't changed a bit since I've been in crypto and I doubt they ever will.

I second Binance as a good exchange- I'm not verified on the site and everything still works fine for me, they have all the pairs I trade including Tronix, and despite their occasional maintenance and issues they're miles better than both YoBit or Hitbtc.

Of course binance is much better but there are coins that are just listed in hitbtc. I find no issues with hitbtc after withdrawing about $2500, its not so much alarming I guess but I think the exchange is performing good already. Bubbletone which had recently finished their ICO are going to be first listed in on hitbtc, more people will be trading there soon.

For Yobit my complain is just the wallet maintenance, you can't trust the guys to update their wallets so you are left with altcoins stuck on them.
