This is still a working exchange as of this moment but basing on vast comments among its users it do really have negative experience.

Basing on my own experience with this site, all transactions went smoothly. It would really just depend on what coin you are engaging on yet
majority of their altcoin wallets are on maintenance that's why it would always be good to have a check before making any transfers into this
exchange to avoid such possible problem ahead.

it seems like I don't trust this Exchanger anymore. Yobit.net exchange has broken my feelings and injured my trust after I could not withdraw from Yobit.net exchange.
But that does not mean I influence other members, I only give advice to avoid this Exchanger.

I think the yobit exchange place is not safe to use for transactions, it's just that there are lots of coins that often manipulate prices, and many withdrawal cases are delayed, it's better not to do transactions on yobit.

They are a legit exchange, but they've got serious customer service issues (among other problems).  Good luck.

This is the right words to describe yobit, giving my opinion based on my experience.

Some people in the forum easily judge yobit as a scam exchange when there are people who are still patronizing the site.

They have this issues for years, since I remember people wrote many things about yobit, they are surviving and recently they added some new things ( i got some mail from them ). I dont use this exchange, for years already, and I have no plans to get back there when there are other much better exchanges, that are more trustworthy than yobit. I cant see any reason to not choose one of the good exchanges.
The thing is not all coins are listed in single exchange, there are coins in yobit that some traders think is profitable.
The question is only is it legitimate or not, and obviously it's a legit exchange since it's been here for years and although we've see bad feedback but they are still operating until now, therefore that would only mean that there are more people trusting them compared to people who hates them.

In my opinion, it is an average exchange, where some investors always had some issues and some others are quite satisfied. If you are having problems then you should use other exchanges such as bittrex or binance.

However, when I purchased a little Namecoin, and tried to withdraw, everything looked normal, until I hit the submit button, and the message came up:  Withdrawal for such currency is temporary off.
Yeah, sometimes their wallets are down for 'maintenance' (whatever that means; I could never figure it out), but the namecoin wallet should hopefully come back online for you to withdraw your coins.  I've learned with Yobit to check to see if the wallet of the coin I want to buy is in maintenance mode before I do any trading--even before I send Yobit any bitcoin to do trading with.  They're lousy as far as updating anyone on what's going on, so it's anyone's guess as to when that wallet will be back up.

I'll update if this gets resolved.
Please do.  Yobit's reputation needs all the help it can get.  I recently did about 3 trades over the past 3 weeks with them for a coin I can't buy on many other exchanges, and all the trades and withdrawals went smoothly.  They are a legit exchange, but they've got serious customer service issues (among other problems).  Good luck.

With a lot of problem and issues to the Yobit I dont think so if it still a legitimate exchange site. I remember wayback 2017 this is my first exchange site to use I earn a good profit but because of becoming low volume and a lot of shitcoin listing in this exchange site I stay aeay from it ans switch to good trading platform, now I saw a lot of people experience a problem with a problem I can say its not a good trafing platform.

I wouldn't use YoBit, it's a pretty horribly designed 'exchange' (if you can even call it that) with some of the worst support, shitty scammy pairs, scammy site, and everything under the sun which could be weird about this sort of exchange. Use someone reputable like Binance, you're asking to lose money if you leave your money in yobit.

Does anyone even use them anymore?

incorrect login or password.I reset the password, I am asked to enter the code 2fa.mais I have not activated. the support yobit does not respond since 4 feb 2018. help me please
There are sometimes difficulties on mobile page. Did you try already to login on PC site? I had no problems to reset password without 2FA. But a friend tried to register via smartphone and has a dot in his email address. They didn't accept that on mobile but on his PC. He could successfully sign up there but can't login on mobile. Anyway they not only have problems with their support and are far away from a legit exchanger in my opinion.

Yobit is the most terrible of all existing exchanges!
I could not translate coins for a month!
As a result, they returned it back to the balance sheet and I could not make a profit!

Support did not answer at all anything for a month!
In Twitter, zero reaction.
I'm not going to cooperate with these bastards and I do not advise anyone!

Pretty good exchange, checked on personal experience — the operations are successful, I hope it will continue. The exchange is a huge turnover, I can only wish growth! Finally found exchange to exchange Fiat money. It pleases. Because of many exchanges, and all seems to be defective — but this was attracted by openness and clarity. Very simple interface and if you are good in the subject, it will be quite difficult. This is a strong exchange for the exchange of many crypto-currencies and it is traded even Fiat money.

I used to trade there a long time ago and then I had no problems trading there, I guess with more and more traders coming and volume increasing, Yobit and other exchanges have come under heavy strain and either their engines cannot cope with the new influx of traders, or their support infrastructure is not big enough to cope with the masses of new support tickets that are coming in. Mostly it is these issues that have caused many exchanges to flounder with the new surge of crypto people coming in. Yobit was always known to trade dead coins and many pumpers would form pump groups to revive and pump dead coins with their bots.
